Blizzard is performingDiablo 4server maintenance on Monday, June 26 and Tuesday, June 27. Like other live service titles,Diablo 4is an online-only game, and so server issues can occasionally prevent fans from playing.
This fact has frustrated manyDiablo 4players since launch. WhileDiablo 4is designed to be a live service game and the entire thing can be played through in co-op, there are those who choose to play completely solo. This has led to some fans calling forDiablo 4to add an offline mode, but it’s unlikely that one will be added. And even if anoffline mode does come toDiablo 4, it’s unlikely to happen at any point in the near future. Regardless, because ofDiablo 4’s always-online nature, fans have to be aware of server maintenance that can potentially cause some downtime.

Diablo 4 Server Maintenance Times
While Blizzard plans on implementing a workaround with the game’s next big update, right nowDiablo 4Hardcore characters can die if the game disconnects. Andif aDiablo 4Hardcore character dies, they are automatically deleted and players have to start the game from the beginning. Needless to say, it would be in one’s best interest to avoid playing with theirDiablo 4Hardcore character until after the server maintenance has been completed.
SomeDiablo 4players may be frustrated by the timing of this server maintenance as it comes hot off the heels of an apparent DDoS attack that kept some from playing the game this past Sunday, June 25.Diablo 4servers were downfor some time that day, preventing players from enjoying the game. Luckily, the issues were resolved andDiablo 4players didn’t have to wait all that long to jump back into the game.
Diablo 4is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
