Some of Poulson’s most recent projects were LEGO mosaics of several characters fromWorld of Warcraft. In one Reddit post, they shared mosaic portraits of Thrall, Garrosh, Vol’Jin, and Sylvanas–the four Warchiefs of theHorde in different periods ofWorld of Warcraft. Each of these is several feet in length, and perfectly replicates the appearances of theWorld of Warcraftcharacters as they appear in official art.

Poulson also created a duo of incredibleWrath of the Lich King-themed mosaics. One displays the infamous Lich King, while the other shows hisdeadly runeblade Frostmournein all its icy glory. The attention to detail in these pieces of art is impressive–many players wouldn’t be able to tell it was made with LEGOs at all without taking a close look.
World of Warcraftis not the only media Poulson creates LEGO mosaics for. They have also done mosaics fromStarcraft,Star Wars,Marvel, and evenAvatar. Fans can view most of their projects on their MyShopify, where Poulson also sells instructions and estimated brick costs for those who want to replicate the mosaics for their own collections.
Fans ofWorld of Warcraftwere understandably impressed by Paulson’s work. Fans complimented their creative use of LEGOs to make such fantastic artwork. The collection of Warchief mosaics also sparked some interesting conversations in the comment section, especially considering the polarized opinions on Sylvanas andGarrosh amongWorld of Warcraftfans.
Battle for AzerothandShadowlandsare widely considered to be some of the worst expansions inWorld of Warcraft. These rocky points in the MMO’s history caused many players, including Poulson, to drift away from the game. However,Dragonflgihthas started to turn things around forWorld of Warcraft, and the community has been impressed with what they’ve seen so far. IfWorld of Warcraftcontinues to do right by its fans, players like Poulson may return to the game in the future. Until then, players will have to wonder what LEGO mosaics ofDragonflightcharacters like Alexstrasza might look like in Poulson’s style.
