In what was arguably the biggest Summer Game Fest announcement yet, Activision confirmed that it is remastering the first twoTony Hawkgames asTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, set to launch on September 4. Fans are excited for the long-running skateboarding franchise to return to its roots, but now that the dust from theTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2announcement has settled, it’s brought attention to a big Activision game leak.
Back in March, frequentCall of Dutyleaker TheGamingRevolution claimed to leak a slew of new projects on the way from Activision. These supposed projects included a remaster ofTony Hawk’s Pro Skateras well asModern Warfare 2 Remastered, both of which have since been announced (and in the case ofModern Warfare 2 Remastered, launched). Since two of the games supposedly leaked by TheGamingRevolution have turned out to be accurate, it lends much more credibility to his claims, and it means that there is a greater chance that the other leaked games are legitimate.

Besides leakingTony Hawk’s Pro SkaterandModern Warfare 2 Remastered, TheGamingRevolution also leaked information aboutCall of Duty 2020, a new free-to-playCall of Dutygame from Sledgehammer Games, and perhaps more interestingly, twoCrash Bandicootgames. One of theCrash Bandicootgames leaked by TheGamingRevolution will have PvP elements, and the other is supposedly aCrash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortexremaster.
It’s entirely possible that these were just lucky guesses, but TheGamingRevolution has accurately leakedActivisionnews in the past, so his claims are a bit easier to believe than others. Even so, fans should take this information with a grain of salt.
While it’s hard to say if all the leaked Activision games are real, there are some that do seem like a given, and that’s the twoCall of Dutygame leaks. Activision has released a newCall of Dutygame every year without fail since 2005, and so it would make no sense for it to stop now, especially since the games are consistently the top-selling games in any given year. As for thefree-to-playCall of Dutygame, Sledgehammer Games is hiring a ton of developers to work on multiple projects at the studio, so it stands to reason that one such project could very well be a free-to-playCoDfor next year as leaked.
It’s hard to determine with certainty if the otherleaked Activision gamesare real, but hopefully fans learn more sooner rather than later.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2will launch on September 4 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
