The Marvelsplot details are kept under wraps by Marvel Studios, but the same can’t be said for Funko. In a new toy line release forThe Marvels, viewers can spot one key element that will pop up in the upcoming film.
After four long years since Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) made her film debut inCaptain Marvel, the MCU is finally releasing a sequel. The titular character has shown up in ensemble movies such as thehighly profitableAvengers: Endgame, butThe Marvelspromises to be different. Instead of a solo or full ensemble film,The Marvelsis the first superhero film led by three women. Also featuring newly dubbed mutant Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), who have appeared in the universe in various projects, the heroes will band together after their powers become entangled.

The reason for this is a huge spoiler and has not been revealed, but that doesn’t include the fluffy flerken named Goose. The cat-like alien appeared in the firstCaptain Marvelfilm and has a surprising update in its newest adventure. In a post on Instagram,@tampikeandoshowed Funko Pop figures for the new film. Some showCaptain Marvel in her classic costume, but the toy of note features Goose surrounded by a group of kittens.
Goose turning out to be a tentacled alien from outer space was a twist, so it is only natural to wonder if these kittens are those of Earth or just flerken kittens that have turned our favorite animal into a parent. The answer to this question can also be found on the corresponding toy box. In addition to normal-looking kittens, the picture shows one in mid-transformation with tentacles sprouting from its face. Judging from this, it looks like Goose is the head of the house in this scenario.
Judging byThe Marvelstrailer, Goose’s growing family will be only one of many surprises coming down the line. In typical Marvel fashion, fans can only speculate at this point. But even though the production company remains tightlipped, these guesses are almost certain. Vellani is reprising her role asthe perfect Ms. Marvel, a choice that will undoubtedly bring some additional complications. Kamala is an impulsive teenager, brimming with nervous and excited energy. Finally meeting her idol, Carol, should arouse some unexpected shenanigans.
And then there is the issue of anewThe Marvelscharacter spoiled by another toy release. All hints point to Park Seo-joon playing Carol’s husband and a prince in the comics. This shows that if anything can break the mold of Marvel apathy, it is Carol Danvers and her army of flerken kittens.
