The Last of Us 2has been out for a few days now, giving fans of Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic survival-horror franchise the chance to explore the ruins of Seattle. Fans have already discovered multiple easter eggs hidden throughoutThe Last of Us 2, and more than one is based on Naughty Dog’s popular 3D platformer seriesJak and Daxter.
ThreeJak and Daxtereaster eggs have been found inThe Last of Us 2so far, but it’s possible that there are more that fans have yet to find. Please note that this post will have some mild location spoilers to explain where exactly to find these easter eggs, but it won’t have any major plot details.

The firstJak and Daxtereaster egg inThe Last of Us 2is pretty hard to miss. Players will find it in the library that they visit at the beginning of the game, sitting in a corner. It consists of a dusty, old PlayStation 3 console with copies of Naughty Dog gamesUncharted: Drake’s Fortune,Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and theJak and Daxter Collection.
After that, players will want to keep an eye out during Seattle - Day 3: The Flooded City. During this part of the game,Elliewinds up in an old arcade with a bunch of out of commission arcade cabinets sitting around. One of the arcade cabinets is forJak X: Combat Racing, a racing game spin-off of theJak and Daxterfranchise that Naughty Dog developed at the end of the PS2’s lifespan. There was never an arcade version ofJak Xin real life, however.
The nextJak and Daxtereaster egg inThe Last of Us 2can be found at the beginning of the Seattle - Day 1 chapter when playing as Abby. While exploring the Stadium, players can take note of a Wolf playing aPlayStation Vita, where he appears to be playingJak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
And finally, Abby can find aJak and DaxterPrecursor Orb during theSeattle - Day 1: Hostile Territory chapter. This marks the lastJak and Daxtereaster egg that has been discovered inThe Last of Us 2so far, but it’s quite possible that there are more fans have yet to discover in the game.
