Summary

Fans of theBatman: Arkhamseries may be jumping into a larger part of a familiar world inSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but the gameplay is where players might feel like fish out of water. Due to a new set of enemies and a different gameplay for each of the four core squad members, new players toSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leagueare bound to make some mistakes due to being unfamiliar with the game itself.

Brainiac knows what he is doing, and as Metropolis becomes overrun by augmented hordes and an evil Justice League, the Suicide Squad is going to need to use everything at their disposal if they want to prove that Task Force X has what it takes to kill the Justice League, save the world andsolve Riddler’s challenges.

6Not Using Shield Harvest Mechanics

The Only Way To Replenish Shields

Shields do not automatically regenerate over time, so it’s essential that players stay on top of this mechanic so that they do not face certain death. Whilst the combat can be chaotic in a good way, sometimes it’s hard to realize that the player’s health is low, and it’s time to shoot out enemies’ legs in order to activate a shield harvest.

In doing this, not only do enemies take a great deal of damage, but players can refresh their shields and ensure that they won’t die. Staying on top of this mechanic is the key to survival, especially in situations where players are overrun, and definitely in higher difficulties, wherethe best loot is a must.

Get All Characters To Level 30 For Their Unique Talents

With the launch ofSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, players will have access to the core four squad members: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang. Each of these characters has their own unique builds and talents that make them fun to play, but it’s worth noting that the level cap for each character is Level 30.

Hitting this level opens up new avenues called Squad Levels, where players can permanently upgrade stats for all characters. However, it’s worth noting that to get all trophies, players will need to max every character’s level, so it’s best to mix and match to optimize XP between characters, rather than going in one at a time.

4Diving Into Enemy Barriers

Enemy Barriers Prevent Ability Usage & Take Away Shields

Enemy patrols that lurk on rooftops will often put up a few barriers and shields, and players shouldn’t be blissfully unaware of these. Running into these barriers will see them lose chunks of their own shield, and on top of that, players cannot use their mobility items to get through the shields themselves. Enemies can shoot through the shields, and players cannot, so it’s best to go up and around to get to the enemies that hide within.

Mobility is going to be players’ best friend, right next to their weapons and squad mates. Each character has a unique way of traversing, and they should all be effective enough to get over enemy barriers, otherwise, enemies have a way to shoot the player without having to fear for their own safety.

3Ignoring Counter Shots

Counter Attacks quickly become a vital mechanic inSuicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and if players ignore them, then they might be adding more stress to the battlefield. Counter Attacks are easy to spot, as a certain point of an enemy will glow with yellow bolts, indicating it’s time to fire off a Counter Shot. Doing so will prevent them from using a charged and powerful attack that could prove fatal.

If the Counter Shot is hit, then the enemy will be stunned, and perhaps even be killed from the damage dealt. All enemy variants have a special Counter Shot, and players shouldn’t ignore these, as they can grant themselves unique advantages when they manage to hit their enemies with them, and that will become especiallyuseful in the endgame.

2Running Out Of Ammo

Kill Enemies To Never Run Dry On Bullets

Ammo is a necessity for the entire squad. There’s nothing worse than filling Brainiac’s goons with mountains of bullets, but when that empty click hits, trouble is about to brew. The best way to avoid running out of ammo is to kill enemies in more varied ways. Rather than relying solely on shooting and headshots, spice things up with ability kills, melee kills, and grenades.

Killing enemies oftenprovides ammunition and resources, so it’s best to take out the smaller enemies and leave the big guys until there is enough ammo to spare on their spongey skin, as there’s nothing worse than just having a boomerang or a baseball bat to try and deal with an enemy with Justice League DNA.

1Rushing Through The Story

Enjoy Metropolis, The Endgame Can Wait

The Justice League is a powerful bunch, and the likes of Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, and The Flash are not going to go down without a fight, especially now that they have no fear of killing, and their regard for human life and innocents is null and void thanks to Brainiac. Since the Justice League is so strong, players should try andbeat them at their own gameand get even stronger than they already are.

To do this, it’s best not to just run through the story, as they may find themselves completing it quicker than they would have anticipated. Instead, players should check out Support Squad Missions, and complete other activities to get them resources, as well asthe Riddler contentfor new cosmetics and codex entries to better understand what happened to the Justice League.
