In theStreet Fighterfranchise, DLC characters are warriors who are included in the game through updates or can be purchased separately via yearly passes.Street Fighter 5, for example, started with a 16-character roster and added 30 additional fighters through downloadable content.
When it comes to the latest installment in the series,Street Fighter 6, fans know thatthe initial roster is more extensivethan the previous games, as it has 18 warriors. However, many are curious about the number ofDLC characters joining the crewand when they willdebut in the game.

Fortunately, Capcom has officially announced thatStreet Fighter 6will introduce at least four additional characters by Spring 2024, with plans to continuously expand the roster afterward.
All Confirmed DLC Characters for Street Fighter 6
The Year-One DLC characters forStreet Fighter 6areRashid, Akuma, Ed, and A.K.I.Of these, the first three are household names introduced in previous installments, and only the last one (A.K.I.) is a new fighter.
According to the release schedule, the first DLC character to become available in the game will be A.K.I. during the Summer of 2023. Following her will be Rashid, joining the roster in the Autumn of the same year. And Ed and Akuma will joinSF6during the Winter and Spring of 2024.

He has a pick rate of 4.161%, making him a favorite among players andthe most sought-after fighterin the new roster. And Capcom’s decision to keep him until the Spring of 2024 suggests that he is thriving under the recent gameplay changes, particularly the Drive System.
Potential DLC Characters for 2024-2025
According to Capcom’s previous release schedules, it is probable that popular characters fromStreet Fighter 5, such asKage, Nacalli, Laura, F.A.N.G., Kolin, Abigail, Menat, Zeku, Falke, G, Lucia, Eleven, and Akira, will be included in upcoming Seasons ofStreet Fighter 6.
