It’s important to note thatStarfield’s tooltips display values with situational buffs accounted for, meaning that the real damage on this particular rifle is 1398 (rounded down). However, few enemies can survive a hit that deals 2797 damage while ignoring armor, which is where the Mammoth’s damage potential really shines. Though the weapons found inStarfield’s opening hours can be exciting, the really powerful stuff can only be found by opening up thestar map inStarfieldand roaming the high-level planets usually found in the eastern end of the Settled Systems.
