9The Book Of Boba Fett
Boba Fett has been a fan-favoriteStar Warscharacter for over 40 years, even with his supposed demise inReturn of the Jedi. Now, with fresh paint on his armor, and a new sense of purpose in the galaxy, Disney Plus brought back Boba Fett for his series,The Book of Boba Fett. The show focuses on Boba Fett as the new daimyo of Tatooine, one that fills the void of Jabba the Hutt, and one that wants to rule with respect rather than fear.
Considering fans had waited decades to see Boba Fett back in action, many were disappointed by the direction and tone ofThe Book of Boba Fett. The show comes across as a long-winded B-movie, with anotable lack of focuson Boba Fett. When the show does focus on the title character, his reinvention feels rushed, and less fleshed out than the 40 years of books and comics.

8Star Wars: Visions
This anthology animated series on Disney Plus brings together seven Japanese animation studios to create their unique perspectives on theStar Warsuniverse. Through aseries of short films,Star Wars:Visionsprovides audiences with theStar Warsanime experience, each episode tells its own story, with its unique animation and design.
For fans of anthology series,Star Wars:Visionscould be a joy. However, since all of it is non-canon, and more of a celebration of anime blended withStar Wars, many might choose to ignoreStar Wars:Visionsfor its lack of importance in the grand scheme ofStar Wars, but the series should also be appreciated for its art form.

When audiences saw a tragic goodbye to the Clone Troopers inStar Wars:The Clone Wars, many were not expecting Disney Plus to put focus on the stellar animation upgrades into a sequel series,The Bad Batch. 6Star Wars: Tales Of The Jedi
There is still much to be desired from the Prequel era ofStar Wars. The galaxy building by George Lucas was immense, and many still adore it as some of the bestStar Warscontent. WithStar Wars:Tales of the Jedi, audiences get to see a deeper and moreintimate look into the lives of famous Jedi.It helps to further expand on theStar Warsmythos established in live-action movies and shows.
The collection of short stories fromTales of the Jedipresents two distinctly different Jedi with Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku. The latter has been relatively undeveloped in his times as a Jedi, and this animated show brings forth the choices that defined his destiny as a Sith Lord.

5Obi-Wan Kenobi

Season 2 further adds to the grand mythos ofStar Wars, by including exciting new species and allies, whilst reinvigorating the love for characters like Boba Fett.
There are plenty of surprises in Season 2 ofThe Mandalorian, such as Ahsoka Tano’s debut in live action, and thereturn of Luke Skywalker. There’s great joy and fan service toThe MandalorianSeason 2, but it does not have the same intrigue and grit as Season 1.

For years since its cancellation, fans have been clamoring for the final season ofStar Wars: The Clone Wars. The animated series was beloved for itsmature themes and entriesinto theStar Warsuniverse, which sought to further flesh out the Prequel era ofStar Warscontent by fleshing out the stories betweenAttack of the ClonesandRevenge of the Sith.
Disney Plus produced the final season ofStar Wars: The Clone Wars, which further adds to the heartbreak ofRevenge of the Sith, by directly tying into the events of the film. The conclusion to the series marks the end of the Prequel era, as it details Ahsoka Tano and Maul’s epic battle against each other and Order 66. It’s poetically tragic, as the bestStar Warscontent usually is.

It shows the true potential of Star Wars, and what it can be without lightsabers, the Force, and overindulgent cameos and nostalgia bait.Star Wars: Andorpresents something real, a more politically charged spy thriller than the usual bout ofStar Wars.
