This movement labeled “No Apex August” on social media has started gaining traction with some fans, as they believe that more drastic action is necessary to get the attention of the developers at Respawn Entertainment.
Even though many liked the idea, some were skeptical concerning the effectiveness of such a protest. While most agreed that various issues still needed to be resolved in the battle royale, they were unsure that enough people would be willing to stop playing the game for an extended period of time. Furthermore, several gamers noted that boycotting the game in August could coincide with the launch of Season 14 ofApex Legends, complicating matters further.
