The majority ofShin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeancetakes place in the Netherworld, focusing on fighting demons. There are a few things for players to do in Tokyo after unlocking the ability to travel between the Netherworld and Tokyo.
A few side quests are available and can be fairly easy to complete, giving players unique items and bonus XP for the next time they go to the Netherworld. One of these quests is In Pursuit of Knowledge, which can be found in the northern section of the Tokyo city map.
How To Complete In Pursuit Of Knowledge In Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance
In Pursuit Of Knowledge begins by talking to the green icon representing the Jouin Student on the Tokyo city map. This side quest is not time-sensitive, but can only be completed when travel between the two worlds is possible, and travel back to Tokyo will occasionally be cut offdue to the main story. There arethree questions players will need to answer correctlyto complete the quest.

Thisquiz can be taken as many times as needed, without any penalty for getting questions wrong. Completing this quest willgive the player 700 XPfor the Nahobino and any summoned demons, along with the Treacherous Order Periapt.

The Treacherous Order Periapt needs two demons of the Dark - Law alignment and allows them to use Rains of Order. Rains of Order is aCombination Magatsuhi skill inShin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeancethatrestores a large amount of MP to all allies and adds one Press Turn Icon to your next turn. This ability has many uses, either when exploring the Netherworld or during long-drawn-out boss fights.
MP restoration items are rare, and this ability not only restores a large amount of MP but does so for all allies. Using this ability during random encounters can make exploring the Netherworld much easier, as it will save MP restoration items. Later boss fights in the game will have the player and their demons using powerful abilities that cost a lot of MP while fighting bosses with huge health bars. Having this ability in your rotation can let players fight to the fullest without the worry of proper MP management throughout the fight.
