Since release,Stardew Valleyhas been given some pretty hefty updates, including the one that brought Ginger Island into the game, along with a new board in the middle of town where villagers post their Special Order requests.
Thenew Special Orders board is introduced in a cutscene, in the Fall of the first yearinStardew Valley. It is located outside of Mayor Lewis' house and new orders areposted every Monday. Some orders are harder to complete than others — and if you fail to complete one in time, any items used for it will appear in a Lost and Found box inside Mayor Lewis' house. This guide will detail all the orders, including who posted them, what they want, and what the reward is. The list is in alphabetical order and does not reflect any specific sequence the orders may appear in.

Deadline: 7 Days
Reward: 2,500 gold, Mini-Obelisk recipe
M. Rasmodius is the somewhat extravagant wizard that lives in a tower in the forest west of Pelican Town. He has a couple of Special Orders that pop up, both of which are quite odd. This one requires a piece of Ectoplasm to be given to him within a week. The substance has a small chance of being dropped by Ghosts when slain. The Wizard will reward you with 2,500 gold andthe recipe for the Mini-Obelisk.

Reward: Gold, Farm Computer recipe
One of the Special Orders that scientist Demetrius requests is this:ten of one species of the following fish delivered within seven days. The type of fish that can be caught depends on the season the quest is activated in:
You will receive gold equal to the price of the fish and a recipe for the Farm Computer as a reward.

Interestingly, the Farm Computer received an update in Version 1.6. It can now be placed basically anywhere, not just the Farm. It’ll display relevant information on whichever location it’s placed in. However, this is largely the same text, which is irrelevant in most places (other than the number of foragables), and the most useful functions it offers are just for the Farm.
Reward: 1,500 gold, Farm Computer recipe

Demetrius' other request is also related to fish. It seems he really wants to keep the rivers running smoothly. This time, there are no seasonal requirements. He asks that you catch 20 of either River, Ocean, or Lake-dwelling fish. This must be completed within seven days.
Demetrius will give 1,500 gold and the Farm Computer recipe if you haven’t already obtained it.

Reward: 6,000 gold, Geode Crusher recipe
Sometimes, the mines get very dangerous. Clint noticed this and tasked you with fixing the problem. He offers a reward of6,000 Gold and a Geode Crusherrecipe to anyone that can slay 50 of the following monsters in a week: bats, dust sprites, skeletons, or grubs.

Reward: 250 friendship with Linus, Fiber Seeds recipe, fun cutscene
Linus had a lot of time to think and has decided that Pelican Town needs some cleaning up. “I have an idea,” he says, “there’s a lot of trash in the water. Why don’t we fish some out to make the valley more beautiful?” Linus asks that within seven days, you should gather 20 trash items and put them into the bin at the train platform. This does not include Joja Cola, but items gained from Crab Pots will count.

The reward for this quest is a small amount of gold, but also 250 Friendship points, a recipe for Fiber Seeds, and a nice cutscene with Linus in the mountains.
Deadline: 28 Days
Reward: Gold, Mini-Shipping Bin
Mayor Lewis also takes advantage of the Special Orders board. The quest requires you to ship 100 of one of the following crops:
All crops must be harvested while the quest is active, but you will have 28 days to complete it. The reward for this is a Mini-Shipping bin (only the first time) and some gold based on which crops are shipped. The quest cannot appear in Winter, since crops will not grow outside.

Reward: 3,500 gold, Bone Mill recipe
Gunther, the proprietor of the Library and Museum, has a request for you, too. He needs 100 Bone Fragments for “his studies.” Note that these must be dropped off in the bin at the Museum’s counter. You have seven days to collect them; they must be collectedwhile the quest is active. Completing this will bag 3,500 Gold, and a recipe for the Bone Mill.

Rewards: 2,000 gold, Coffee Maker, a cute cutscene
Evelyn and George, everyone’s favorite SDV grandparents, also need some assistance. “George thinks no one in town cares about him. I’d like to prove him wrong!” writes Evelyn. You must collect 12 Leeks and place them on Evelyn’s stove inside her house. Again, these must be collected while the quest is active, but Leeks from Spring Seeds do count. This quest is only available in Spring, and you are given the whole month to complete it.

The rewards for this quest include a Coffee Maker, some gold, and a cutscene at their house.
Deadline: 14 Days
Reward: 3,000 gold, Mini-Fridge, a nice cutscene
Even the Stardrop Saloon runs out of ingredients sometimes. This is one of those times. Gus requests 24 eggs to be placed in the fridge of the Saloon so he can make a huge omelet. You will have 14 days to collect the eggs; these can be from any animal but will need to be collected once the quest begins.
Gus will reward you with gold every time the repeatable quest is taken, and for the first time only, he’ll give a Mini-Fridge. A cutscene will also play after the first time you complete this quest.
Reward: Gold, Solar Panel recipe
This next one involves the tropical Ginger Island. Caroline asks for a large amount of a tropical crop to be shipped. You need to ship either 100 Taro Roots, Pineapples, or pieces of Ginger. These must be collected while the quest is active, but any Ginger that is dropped by Slimes on the island does count. The reward is some gold (based on the crops shipped) and the Solar Panel recipe.
Juicy Bugs Wanted!
Reward: 3,000 gold, Quality Bobber recipe, a great cutscene with Willy
Being a fisherman is hard, and that can mean there’s no time to collect bait. So, Willy requests 100 pieces of bug meat. You need to collect it within seven days and put it in the container next to Willy’s shop. The rewards are worth it, though: 3,000 Gold, a cutscene, and the recipe for the Quality Bobber.
Recipe: 2,500 gold, Mini-Shipping Bin, a cutscene with Pierre
Next up is Pierre. For an upcoming in-store promotion, he wants gold-star vegetables — specifically, 25 gold-star vegetables. You must harvest them and place them in the bin inside the General Store. Any vegetables picked by the Junimos do not count. This quest gives 28 days for you to complete it, and successfully doing so will lead to Pierre’s reward of 2,500 gold and a Mini-Shipping Bin. There will also be a new cutscene in the store.
Reward: 5,000 gold, Monster Musk recipe
M. Rasmodius, the Wizard, requests that you bring a jar of Prismatic Jelly to him. You are given seven days to get it. The good news is, the Prismatic Jelly always drops from slaying Prismatic Slimes. These Slimes only appear while the quest is active — however, they are rare, and also have very high HP.
For your valiant efforts, you will receive 5,000 gold, and the Monster Musk recipe.
Robin’s Project
Reward: 2,000 gold, 250 friendship with Robin, Red Double Bed added to Robin’s stock, a new cutscene with Robin
Robin has two requests. The first (in alphabetical order) is Robin’s Project. To complete a new idea for a bed, she requests80 pieces of Hardwood. You are given seven days to collect the material. This can be tricky as Hardwood is gathered from large stumps and Mahogany trees only. Giving Robin the pieces will net some gold, 250 Friendship Points, a cutscene, and the ability to buy the new Deluxe Red Double Bed from her.
Reward: 2,500 gold, Stone Chest recipe, keep the resources after
The second Special Order that Robin puts in is to aid her new promotion, ‘for fun.’ This entails gathering1,000 pieces of either wood or stone(depending on which the quest asks for) within a week. Now, these can be purchased from Robin’s shop and then given to her — though this can be very pricey. If you’ve got more gold than you know what to do with, then it’s an easy way to complete it, otherwise, it’ll cost a noticeable amount. The resources must be obtained within the time the quest is active, but you will get to keep them aftewrard.
Robin will give 2,500 Gold, and the Stone Chest recipe as thanks.
Rock Rejuvenation
Reward: 1,000 gold, 250 friendship with Emily, a Sewing Machine, and a fun cutscene with Emily
Emily loves rocks. Crystals, minerals, gems — you name it, she’s all over it. So, her Special Order includes crystals. She wants to do a ‘rejuvenation’ ceremony with her friends, and so she asks for: a Ruby, a Topaz, an Emerald, a piece of Jade, and an Amethyst. You have seven days to deliver these to her, but the items can be previously found — they don’t need to be newly harvested while the quest is active.
The rewards Emily provides are some gold,250 Friendship Points, a cutscene of the Rejuvenation ceremony, and a Sewing Machine sent through the mail. This machine functions the same as the one in her house, but can be placed elsewhere.
The Strong Stuff
Reward: 3,000 gold, 250 friendship with Pam, a new fishing-info television channel, a cutscene with Pam
Everyone’s, um, ‘favorite’ neighbor Pam is after something too. She wants you to make her some strong spirits out of potatoes, and bring them to her. It’s no secret that Pam is Pelican Town’sresident alcoholic, and it doesn’t quite feel right fuelling the addiction. This quest is only available in Spring and gives 14 days to collect potatoes, make 12 Potato Juices using the Keg, and then put them into Pam’s kitchen. As a reward, you’ll receive gold, 250 Friendship Points, a cutscene, and a new television channel. Oh, and maybe a sense of unease.
Reward: 2,500 gold, Deluxe Fish Tank
Last but not least is another request from fisherman Willy. He asks you to ‘keep the art of fishing alive’ by catching five Blue Discus, five Lionfish, andfive Stingrays. This quest will only appear once Ginger Island and the Island Resort are accessible and built, and it has a seven-day time limit. Willy will give 2,500 gold, and a Deluxe Fish Tank item as thanks
