Some newly surfaced evidence has given rise to the speculation thatPersona 3 Reloadcould be coming to the Nintendo Switch after all. Atlusofficially revealedPersona 3 Reloadat the latest Xbox Games Showcase, but has so far only confirmed that the remake of its iconic 2006 RPG will be coming to PC and the last two generations of PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

The notion ofPersona 3 Reloadcoming to the Switch isn’t outside the realm of possibility. The remastered editions ofPersona 3 Portable,Persona 4 Golden, andPersona 5 Royalwere also initially announced just for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation in June 2022. However, all three made their way to Nintendo’s hit hybrid console on the same day they reached other systems. Just before Atlus revealed the full list of those games' target platforms, a German retailerleaked the existence of the Switch versions ofPersona 5 Royaland its two predecessors.

History might be set to repeat itself, as several retail listings for the Switch port ofPersona 3 Reloadsurfaced online over the last few days. One of them even predates the game’s actual announcement, having been uncovered on the website of Spanish retailer XtraLife on June 9. The more recent one came from British storefront Game, which put up a page for the Switch version ofPersona 3 Reloadin the days that followed the remake’s reveal. Both appear to use placeholder art, and even if that wasn’t the case, early retailer listings are a historically unreliable indicator of platform availability.

Be that as it may, the fact that the last threePersonatitles for the Switch also leaked in the run-up to their official reveal does lend some credence to the theory that Atlus and Sega are planning to bringPersona 3 Reloadto Nintendo’s console. The Switch versions of the 3D remasters were all officially announced at the last Nintendo Direct Mini dedicated to third parties, which took place on Jul 09, 2025. Coincidentally, aNintendo Direct is rumored to be coming next month, with one insider recently suggesting that this event could be focused on third-party games.

While it remains to be seen whether the upcoming remake does end up coming to the Nintendo Switch, what’s certain is thatPersona 3 Reloadwill be missing some contentthat many fans were hoping to see, as Atlus recently confirmed that the project is solely focused on reimagining the experience of the 2006 original. That doesn’t necessarily exclude the possibility ofPersona 3 FESandPersona 3 Portablefeatures being added to the game as DLC, especially given the Japanese developer’s long track record of providing post-launch content for its titles.
