Resident Evil 4remakefollows Agent Leon S. Kennedy on his mission to find and rescue Ashley Graham from the cult that kidnapped her. While playing through the main story, players can happen upon several references to the original game, but not all of them are easy to find.

During Chapter 12ofRE4remake, Leon can find and sit down inRamon Salazar’s chair, but finding it can be a little tricky, especially if players are rushing to the end of the game. This chair was also present in the original, so longtime fans may wish to find it as soon as they can.
What is Ramon Salazar’s Chair in Resident Evil 4 Remake?
In the originalResident Evil 4, Leon could find Lord Saddler’s chair after surviving the laser-filled hallway known asthe Prophet’s RoominChapter 5: Part 3. Upon approaching it, Leon would be given the option to sit down in it.

Though sitting down in Saddler’s chair didn’t affect the story in any way, it has remained one of the most iconic moments to come from the original game. InResident Evil 4remake, the chair now belongs to Ramon Salazar, and it can’t be reached by traveling down blindingly white hallways or dodging lasers.
Ramon Salazar’s Chair Location in Resident Evil 4 Remake
Players will come close to finding Ramon Salazar’s throneduring Chapter 10, but before they can approach it, Leon will be dropped into the Caverns beneath The Castle, where he will be forced to navigate the treacherous abyss until he can find a way back to the surface. Uponcompleting Chapter 11, he will be able to use the elevator on the platform where he fought Krauser toreturn to The Castle’s Ballroom.
From there, Leon can open the locked gate leading back into the Ballroom to connect the two areas and then proceed through the large doorway leading east to get back tothe Antechamber. Inside, he will need to defeat a small group ofCultistsandParasitesbefore he can safely continue intothe Throne Room.

Once inside the Throne Room, Leon can proceed to the back of the chamber to find Ramon Salazar’s chair. Interacting with this chair will prompt Leon to sit down, cross his legs, and rest his head on his hand.
After a moment, a prompt will appear, reading"There’s no time for resting,“just like in the original game.

Before leaving, players can take a moment to completeThe Disgrace of the Salazar Family, a request that requires Leon tothrow an egg at the portrait of Ramonjust north of the chair. Players can also find theHousekeeper’s Memo 2andRamon’s Confessionnotes by examining the tables on the northern and southern sides of the chair. TheChronicles of Pursuitnote can be found on the table south of the pit in the center of the room.
