Pokemonfans will often bicker about the designs of Pokemon in each generation of games, but Falinks is generally not popular with anyone. The fighting-type Pokemon still found its way intoPokemon Scarlet & Violetand still provides some value to players who add it to their party.

Canonically speaking, Falinks is something akin to a Galarian Exeggcute. The Pokemon is technically six separate Pokemon that act together and somehow wind up sharing the same Poke Ball. While this doesn’t really make sense, longtime players ought to accept these things byPokemon Scarlet & Violet.

Falinks can be a solid addition to teams that need a fighting-type Pokemon, but it’s not particularly easy to find one in the wild. Players can still track one down ortake advantage of a wild Tera spawnin the early game.

Falinks can be found in West Province Areas One and Two, and North Province Area Two.Players can potentially find the Pokemon on the path fromthe Open Sky Titanto Cascarrafa or in the northeastern reaches of Paldea. Its habitat page in the Paldean Pokedex can be seen here:

This isn’t the only place to catch Falinks, though. Alongside this, players can find a single wild Tera Falinks to the west of Levincia. The Pokemon is guaranteed to have asteel Tera Typeand will spawn at level 30. This Falinks in particular can be quite helpful, as its fighting type moves and steel Tera Typing will make it uniquely strong againstMedali gym leader Larry, who uses normal-type Pokemon.

Finally, Falinks can also be found in four and five-star Tera Raid battles. Falinks has a slim chance of actually appearing in these raids as there are dozens of Pokemon that have a chance of appearing in these battles. Players can keep an eye out for these raids in the Poke Portal, but those looking to complete their Pokedex are best served to find one in the wild.

Falinks is a decent Pokemon in its own right but is largely outshone by other fighting-type Pokemon. It is physically bulky and has a decent attack stat, with a pure fighting typing that is actually quite rare inPokemon Scarlet & Violet. Unfortunately for Falinks, there are four Paradox Pokemon with fighting typing that offer better bulk and firepower alongside Annihilape.

Falinks can be a decent option in the story since it has a solid Attack stat and moves like Close Combat and First Impression. At best, it’s an extremely situational pick in Tera Raid battles and the Battle Stadium.
