Dragon-type Pokemon always seem to be on the underrated side of Pokemon, and this goes for Jangmo-o and its evolutions. This Pokemon is available inPokemon Scarlet and Violetand has a total of three different variants: Hakamo-o and Kommo-o.
Jangmo-o is one of the cutest Dragon-type Pokemon in Generation 7, considering how the gold piece on top of its head looks exactly like a heart. However, upon evolving, the Pokemon sadly does lose its heart but gains some pretty cool gold scales that make it look even really cool. This guide will explain how to get both evolutions of the Pokemon inPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Where to get Jangmo-o
First things first, players will need to catch themselves a Jangmo-o, which can be found in theParadise Barrenson the Kitakamimap. Something that can be done to enhance how many will spawn in this location is by creating a picnic and eating asandwich that heightens Dragonencounters.
While using this technique, some trainers have found it surprisingly easy to catch a Shiny Jangmo-o which is a bright pink color. While this isn’t promised, using any type of heightened encounter can increase the chances of getting a Shiny inPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
How to Evolve Jangmo-o
Jangmo-ohas three different evolutions that can be registered into the Pokedex. The first evolution is Hakamo-o. Trainers can easily get this Pokemon from Jangmo-o by leveling it up to level 35, which can be helped by giving it experience candy from Tera Raids. Once Jangmo-o to its first evolution, it will have the Fighting-type ability, meaning it can also learn fighting-type moves.
To evolve the Pokemon to its final evolution, players will need to get Jangmo-o to level 45. Once the Pokemon has reached this level,it will evolve into Kommo-o, the strong Dragon and Fighting type Pokemon. The fastest way to level up any Pokemon is by giving experience candies, which can easily be collected and farmed from Tera Raids. Once a Tera Raid is completed, trainers will be given an assortment of experience candies ranging from extra small to large. Obviously, the bigger the candy, the faster it will be leveled up.
After giving the Pokemon enough of the candies, it will evolve straight into Kommo-o and players will have successfully collected all three of these Pokemon into their Pokedex and be ready to move on to the next one.
