Summary

APokemonfan has created a Dark-type form for Ambipom, giving the critter a sinister makeover.Pokemonhas several pocket monsters inspired by legends and folk tales, but there are also manyPokemon based on real animals.

One of them is Aipom, a Normal-type Pokemon with purple fur, blue eyes, and a three-fingered hand on the tip of its tail. Its design is reminiscent of the New World monkey, a type of primate found in the tropical regions of Mexico, Central America, and South America. Because they use their tails so often, Aipom are known for having clumsy arms. Only in Gen 4Pokemondid Aipom gain an evolution, Ambipom, which the Pokemon achieves by evolving while knowing Double Hit. As Ambipom, the Pokemon receives several design changes but keeps the concept of its previous form. The most notable difference is that Ambipom gains two tails, each with a three-fingered hand with red tips.

Twitter user OzoneFruit has created a Dark-type form for Ambipom called Dark Deals Ambipom. While Ambipom has a light color palette, Dark Deals Ambipom has dark colors that give the Pokemon a Jack Skellington-esque vibe. Its body is black and the fur on its belly is white, in a pattern similar to the anatomy of a sternum. Its face and head highlight the demon-like nature of the Pokemon, with a creepy smile on its face. Unlike Ambipom, which has two tails, Dark Deals Ambipom has four. Two of the tails have hands with bone fingers, and the other two have the tip of a pen, resulting in aDark-type Pokemon with an impressive design.

Dark Deals Ambipom’s tails are directly related to the Pokedex entry created by OzoneFruit. Following the “demon” theme, Dark Deals Ambipom controls a mysterious power that can boost the strength of another Pokemon. Despite this, it never lends out its power without making perverse deals, so one must be careful before shaking hands with this Pokemon. Dark Deals Ambipom is sinister in every way, but it’s not something that will scarePokemonfans used toPokemon with horrifying Pokedex records. Additionally, players wouldn’t have much trouble imagining Dark Deals Ambipom having access to Dark-type moves like Dark Pulse, Foul Play, and Hyperspace Fury.

Although they are Pokemon from previous generations, Aipom and Ambipom are available in Gen 9.Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers can catch and evolve Aipom, which has returned thanks to the release of the Teal Mask DLC. As well as encountering Aipom and other classic Pokemon such as Hoothoot, Pachirisu, and Swinub,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetplayers can find new Pokemon such as Sinistcha and Poltchageist, two Pokemon with intriguing stories.
