Reddit user JoeJoe535 posted the most unexpected spawn location for a chest in his world: in the middle of lava. Staring out at the chest as it floated above the molten sea, they were presented with a dilemma. Given the chance of burning to death from the heat and fire, the contents of the chest remained sealed away.
Palworld Treasure Chest Spawns in Difficult to Access Area
Thankfully, the community rallied with helpful tips on how to obtain the goods inside the chest.Palworld’sfire mounts can walk over lava, allowing players to reach loot in the middle of a volcano unscathed. Flying mounts won’t touch the lava, but can get close enough to snag the loot. Some posters even suggested that lava in certain areas doesn’t cause damage, and just wearing Heat Resistant armor would be enough.
Whether this is an intended spawn location or a glitch hasn’t been confirmed. There are different ways to get a treasure chest in lava. Whether walking over it orriding a Pal inPalworld, obtaining the loot is possible. However, there are no chests in water areas, such as the ocean or ponds that players can encounter. They also haven’t been found in the volcano or other lava areas on the map. Typically, chests are in much more accessible spots. Though they could still get the loot from it, due to the strange position, this seems more like a bug than an intended feature.
While there are consistent treasure chest spawn locations, finding one in a pool of lava is odd. If this is an intended feature, players may start seeing more creative places where chests appear. Having a team with Pals of various typing that players are able to ride, especiallythose that can fly inPalworld, seems like the best way to never miss any treasure.
