Summary
With the Marines and St. Jaygarcia Saturn finally arriving at Egghead Island, things are finally starting to heat up. Thankfully, the Straw Hatsmanaged to rescue Vegapunkand catch York, the traitor, before she could hand the scientist over to the World Government. The pirates also made her spill the beans, revealing every single detail of their malicious plans.
The Gorosei were surprised that York was captured by the Straw Hats, and they feared that she would be eliminated by the pirates. St. Jaygarcia Saturn confirmed that the mission has three priorities: York’s safety, the Punk Records, and the power plant responsible for the creation of the Mother Flame. He told Vice Admiral Doberman that everything else could be destroyed.

The Admiral
The Marines have a fleet of 100 ships, each of which carries multiple soldiers. They are being accompanied by nine Vice Admirals and Admiral Kizaru. If that wasn’t bad enough, St. Jaygarcia Saturn is also part of the group. Kizaru is the oldest Admiral, and he has served the World Government loyally for years. Kizaru follows Unclear Justice, so he doesn’t strongly believe in any ideal. However, he is an unpredictable individual who can be harmless one minute and a threat the next. Kizaru possesses the Pika Pika no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create and control light at will. The Devil Fruit is extremely powerful and unique, which is why it drew the attention of Dr. Vegapunk. The scientist spent a long time researching its power and developing laser weapons. He then implanted them into the Pacifista, the Seraphim, and the defense system on Egghead Island.
As a light human, Kizaru can move at incredibly fast speeds, and it is almost impossible to detect him with the naked eye. Most individuals can’t even react to Kizaru’s attacks unless they have refined Kenbunshoku Haki. Even then, it is necessary to have the reflexes to dodge his moves.Kizaru’s Pika Pika no Miallows him to attack from range with a barrage of light projectiles. Kizaru is also able to turn light into a sword and use it as a weapon to fight his opponents. Kizaru seems adept at swordsmanship, as he was able to hold his own against Silvers Rayleigh. There is one more individual who poses a big threat to the heroes, and that is St. Jaygarcia Saturn.
The Gorosei
Before the Egghead arc,One Piecefans had never seenone of the Goroseileave Marijoa to tend to any matter. So, it was definitely surprising to see St. Jaygarcia Saturn traveling to Egghead Island. There is not much information available about him or his abilities, but it has been confirmed that he has a Devil Fruit. It seems that he has a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit, which is considered rarer than Logia types.

St. Jaygarcia Saturn has scars on his face, implying that he used to be a fighter at some point in his life. It is safe to assume that he is as strong as an Admiral. Either way, his presence doesn’t bode well for the Straw Hats.
The Straw Hats
The Straw Hats have a few allies on Egghead Island, but they cannot rely on their help to get away. Monkey D. Luffy is arguably the strongest person on the island. He should be able to demolish Kizaru and St. Jaygarcia Saturn, provided he fights them separately. In addition to Luffy, the crew also has the likes of Zoro, Sanji, and Jimbei among its ranks. They are also elite fighters and should be able to take down the Vice Admirals without any difficulty.
The satellites of Vegapunk do not have notable fighting prowess, so they probably won’t get involved. Stussy, who has betrayed the World Government, will have to be careful. Her betrayal will not go down well with the Gorosei, and it seemslikely that Rob Lucci might fight her.
The Straw Hats also have Sentomaru on their side, and he has done well to stand his ground for such a long time. He ordered the Pacifista to eliminate anyone who posed a threat. However, his hands will be full with Kizaru, who won’t go easy on him. Unless Sentomaru has some secret ability in his locker, his chances of victory are slim.
Who Will Win
The battle of Egghead Islandis going to shake the entire world. Given the number of big-name individuals involved in the war, Morgans will try his level best to spread the news around the world. The numbers favor the Marines, but the Straw Hats have more quality on their side. Vegapunk could try and use the Seraphim to buy some time, but it would be a risky move, especially when St. Jaygarcia Saturn can override any orders given to them.
The Straw Hats are not planning to engage the enemies; instead, they want to escape without any further loss of life. If they do end up fighting the Marines, they will be at a serious disadvantage. St. Jaygarcia Saturn’s presence at the Egghead will make all the difference. In case he was absent, Vegapunk could just deploy the Seraphim and make them fight. Due to this reason, the Marines have the advantage.
