Furnace Lair is a location inOnce Human’s Chalk Peak, and players who visit it will have the opportunity to complete an optional quest called “Explore Furnace Lair.” To complete that quest, fans must look for a Mystical Crate, defeat normal enemies, find Weapon and Armor Crates, and activate a Rift Anchor, and they may find it difficult to address some of those tasks. This guide refers to the northern half of the location, which focuses on agriculture, as “northern Furnace Lair,” and it refers to the southern half of the location, which focuses on industry, as “southern Furnace Lair.”
Once Human: Explore Furnace Lair
Look for Mystical Crates
There is a warehouse building on the south side of southern Furnace Lair, and it is filled with train cars. Players that climb on top of the cars on the south side of this building will find that there is a metal ramp that they can use to reach the rafters, and the Mystical Crate is in that elevated area.
There are several red train cars outside the warehouse building, just to its north, and there is a purple crystal on top of one of them. Coming into contact with that object will create a trail of crystals that leads toward another Mystical Crate, though opening it may not count toward the completion of thisexploration quest inOnce Human.
Defeat Normal Enemies
Players should pull out their favoriteweapons inOnce Humanand use them to dispatch 12 enemies in Furnace Lair.
Find Weapon and Armor Crates
There are several Weapon and Armor Crates that can be opened for this task, and here are the locations of three of them:
Activate Rift Anchor
The Furnace Lair’s Rift Anchor is at the south end of the location, and its position is marked on the in-game map. If a player is unable to activate thisRift Anchor inOnce Human, they should work through more of the game’s main story and then check again.
