An early leak of a newPersona 3 Reloadtrailer on Atlus' official YouTube channel appears to confirm that the game will be getting a Nintendo Switch port. A port of the game has only been rumored and hoped for up until this point, butmanyPersonatitles recently came to the Switchafter a long wait.Persona 3 Reloadrecently got its exciting announcement and debut trailer after a lot of speculation and leaks. Atlus doesn’t seem to be doing a particularly good job of plugging any of these leaks either, as new information just keeps coming about the JRPG remake long before any official announcements. This time around, it’s the confirmation thatPersona 3 Reloadwill be coming to a platform that, up until now, many fans were just hoping it would come to.RELATED:Persona 3 Reload Confirms Big ChangePersonaYouTuber Faz recently highlighted the leak, which comes in the form of a video that is currently live on the official Atlas YouTube channel but is unlisted and thus was not intended to be seen this early. The end of the trailer itself still only shows the logos for the consoles that werealready confirmed to be receivingPersona 3 Reload, which does not include Nintendo Switch. The description of the trailer, however, does include Switch among the names that will be receivingP3R.
It is worth noting that, in the time since this news originally broke, the description for the trailer has been changed and Nintendo Switch is no longer mentioned anywhere in relation toPersona 3 Reload. Considering the trailer doesn’t itself doesn’t mention anything about the game coming to Nintendo Switch, it is entirely possible that the console being listed in the description was just a typo that has since been fixed. It could also be that Atlus has been saving the announcement of the remake coming to the Switch for a big reveal sometime later on. Regardless, this little leak has certainly givenPersonafans on the Switch a lot of hope.
Persona 3 Reloadjust may be the most-leaked Atlus gameof all time. News about this game has been circulating since long before the recent official announcement and trailer. Now, with this new Nintendo Switch port leak, some fans are actually beginning to wonder if Atlus isn’t intentionally leaking information to build hype. It’s an effective marketing strategy if that is what Atlus is doing, because the fanbase is excited.
