Summary
The foundation of theMOBA scene is on its way for a shake-upas the developers at Titan Forge Games prepare to launch the upcoming sequel to their break-out game,Smite, with a new installment. The latest title comes with a laundry list of upgrades, new modes, a bunch of community requests, and revamped and new gods for players to enjoy.Smite 2made its announcement not too long ago and will run concurrently alongside the original game, giving players the best of both worlds.
The originalSmitegame has an enormous roster of mythological gods from various pantheons, and Titan Forge Games does a fantastic job of designing these characters and making them as unique as possible. Every fan has a wishlist for the new game, asSmite 2has so much lore to pull from and just as many possible collaborations. Even with the entire original roster being brought to the new game, here are some new gods that could make their way intoSmite 2.

8Asura
Unparalleled Power Of A New Warrior
Asura may be one of the most anticipated gods in theSmitecommunity, with many clamoring to know what role the Hindu titan may embody. Aura is known inside the gaming community from the hitaction gameAsura’s Wrath, which portrayed the god as a rage-filled powerhouse that could take on entire worlds by himself.
InSmite 2, Asura could be a substantial warrior or assassin due to his lore of being a very envious and proud being. Acting as a walking steamroller that can debuff targets with basic attacks or who gets stronger as they take more damage may be the perfect style for the legendary titan.

7Buddha
A New Support Or Guardian
Buddha would be another great god inSmite 2and an addition to the Hinduism religion alongside Shiva and Kali. Buddha is one of the most well-known gods in the world, and is known for its tranquil benevolence.
Buddha would most likely be a Guardian with exemplary healing or shielding abilities. In mythology, Buddha is also the absolute being, having obtained nirvana and achieving true enlightenment. However, Buddha could also lean towards being a Warrior, similar to his depiction in theRecord of Ragnorakanimeon Netflix.

6Kronos
A Wrathful Assassin
The Greek Pantheon is one of the largest rosters inSmite, and there is still a large amount of untapped potential in the extended family tree of Zeus and his fellow gods. One introduction that would shake up the playing field is Kronos, the father of Zeus, who ate his children, Poseidon and Hades. However, Zeus is spared by his mother and returns to slay his father and become the leader of the gods, banishing his father to Tarturus.
WithSmitealready releasing Charon, the boatman of Tarturus, it is fair to assume that Kronos could make his debut inSmite 2. As an unimaginable force, Kronos wields a mighty spear in mythology, making him the prime choice to be an assassin who may use cosmic force to be everywhere at once with teleporting abilities like Loki.

5Gaia
A New World Boss Turned Champion
Another enormous addition toSmitealong the lines of Atlas and Surtyr, Gaia would be a fantastic addition toSmite 2as the mother of the earth herself. Gaia is the mother of Kronos and one of the mightiest titans in all Greek mythology.
With nearly untapped power, Gaia would make a great mage who could manipulate the entire battlefield with gravity magic or powerful spells of chaos energy, similar to the new Egyptian god, Nut.

4Baldr
A Perfect Guardian
Baldr belongs to Norse mythology and is the son of Odin and Frigg. As one of the favorites, even among other gods, Baldr is known as a proud warrior and for being totally immune to harm. One of the most prominent well-known facts circulating around Baldr is that his death signals Ragnarok and the death of the gods.
Baldr has appeared in numerous mediums over the years, such as Marvel Comics and therenownedGod of Warseries. However, inSmite 2, Baldr would make a great Guardian with the ability to pass his immunity to harm other characters or perhaps become a god-shield for comrades.

3Sif
An Unstoppable Fighter Or Hunter
Sif is another strong god from Norse mythology that is verywell known throughout multiple different fandoms. Sif has many muddled details about her existence but is mostly thought of as a fertility goddess and the goddess of archery and single combat.
Throughout pop culture, Sif is always depicted as a mighty warrior, master of the sword, and always has an intimate relationship with Thor. As a new god inSmite 2, Sif would make a great Assasin or Hunter with abilities that capitalized on ramping damage or falling swords from the sky, similar to Garren fromLeague of Legends.

2Mordred
A Vengeful New Warrior
One of the most surprising pantheons that the originalSmiteintroduced was the Arthurian mythology, which brought King Arthur, Merlin, and Morgan Le Faye into the game.
There is a lot of untapped potential in this pantheon, specifically with Mordred, the villainous son of King Arthur himself. Mordred seeks to claim the throne of Camelot for himself and holds a special hatred for his father. Introducing Mordred as a hulking Bruiser with his own sword of power would make for a great addition to the game.

1The Lady In The Lake
A Mysterious New Mage
Diving deeper into the Arthurian pantheon inSmiteopens up more exciting possibilities. For most of the legendssurrounding King Arthur, the Lady in the Lake has always been seen as an indirect player in the battles of magic and the Round Table. However, the Lady in the Lake, also known as Nimue, is an extremely powerful enchantress who lives in a castle beneath the magical waters of Avalon.
Being introduced intoSmite 2, she would make a fantastic Mage with healing waters and rebuffing spells for opponents. Nimue could even succeed as a jungle god, able to travel around the map in a way similar to Heimdallr.
