At other times, they feel more relatable due to their dark and sad pasts, against which they still maintain a cheerful attitude towards life. Here are some of the most cheerful characters in anime that fans adore.
7Koro Sensei (Assassination Classroom)
Who would not like to have Koro sensei as their teacher? Koro sensei was once a human being, but secret government experiments turned him into an almost invincible monstrosity. Despite having gone through so much, Koro sensei still remained a gentle and kind person, and started training a classroom of teenagers to become assassins.Koro sensei’s big smile and colorful personality always kept the mood of the show light. Even when fighting enemies, Koro sensei remained as cheerful as ever. Nothing was able to phase this octopus-looking creature, even the fact that he was bound to die soon. Instead of finding a way to save himself, he sought someone capable enough to end his life before he could explode and end the entire world.
6Might Guy (Naruto)
Might Guy not only showed his pupils the true power of youth, but also imparted his ideals onto fans, inspiring them in the process. Might Guy had a carefree but cheerful personality, with which he would constantly uplift others, and laugh in the face of danger. To make up for his lack of magic, he trained his body day and night to keep up with his rival Yuno.Even when people around him constantly belittled Asta, he never let it get to him. With his cheerful spirit, he has won the hearts of many throughout the course of the show, brightening their lives forever. Even when a battle left Asta’s arms broken beyond repair, he tried his best to stay positive and not be a burden to anyone else.

Being short and trying to be the best in a sport filled with tall guys is a daunting task, but one that Hinata Shoyo believed he could achieve. Hinata’s love for volleyball emerged as a result of a single moment when he saw a short guy scoring in a volleyball championship on TV. The significance of that one display of power was enough to encourage Hinata to take on the sport, and leave his mark. No matter what the challenge may be, Goku is never one to back down from it, even when he knows he is not powerful enough to handle the threat.
