Even after all the criticisms that fans have levied on the Fourth Shinobi World War arc, there’s no denying thatNaruto’s legendary status as one of the greatest shonen anime will stand the test of time for quite a while. The series has a bevy of characters, some of whom are extremely charismatic and will always be a joy to witness on-screen.

7Minato Namikaze

The Fourth Hokage was a figure that was talked about rather sparingly inNaruto, andthe man’s ties to Narutoweren’t really said outright until the Pain arc. Minato was a charismatic figure who could always will the people around him into action, wielding powerful jutsu that could take out the toughest foes around.

The fact that he went on his own terms and protected Naruto to his last breath is a testament to what a great father he was, despite appearing sporadically in Naruto’s life. His interactions with Naruto during the War arc were great and helped the two bond at a level that Naruto could never have expected.

6Might Guy

Kakashi’s eternal rival who never fails to steal the show with his introduction, Might Guy is a legendary taijutsu user who uses his techniques to destroy opponents without any problems. He’s the perfect rival for Kisame, a character who thrives on stealing the ninjutsu of others to make himself stronger.

The sheer confidence that Might Guy has in every scene makes it clear why so many people love him. His taijutsu helps him shine during physical confrontations and allowed him to go toe-to-toe against Madara, even though the ensuing damage would permanently hinder his abilities as a ninja.

5Naruto Uzumaki

The protagonist of this tale, it’s only a given that Naruto is one of the most charismatic characters in the entire series. While some people may find him annoying, there’s no denying that Naruto’s magnetic quality to make people join up with him makes this spiky yellow-haired ninja a likable figure indeed.

He’s able tomake characters like Obito and Nagatorealize the folly of their endeavors, letting them redeem themselves instead of falling into darkness over and over again. His Talk no Jutsu is derided a lot of times, but Naruto does have the charisma to convince even the most hardened criminals to understand the error of their ways.

4Jiraiya

While Jiraiya’s perverted tendencies are definitely problematic, there’s no denying that his charismatic personality is so likable that fans are willing to forgive him for his lewd nature. A member of the legendary Sannin, Jiraiya was one of the funniest and most boisterous members of the trio who never failed to entertain with his outspoken attitude.

In his later years,he decided to mentor Narutoand helped him become a ninja capable of harnessing his potential to become one of the strongest shinobi around. There’s a reason why so many people lament his demise, labeling it asNaruto’s saddest moment by a country mile.

3Hashirama Senju

It’s only a given that the first-ever leader of the illustrious Leaf Village had to be a shinobi who wasn’t just powerful and reliable but could also attract people to follow his cause. Such was the case with Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage… who is also one of the strongest characters in the series.

Despite appearing like a goofball at times, the sheer amount of power that Hashirama possesses is not to be trifled with. After all, only the strongest ninja around would be able to take downsomeone as powerful as Madara Uchihaduring the peak of this renegade shinobi’s powers!

2Rock Lee

Rock Lee is a taijutsu expert whoreally took a liking for his sensei, the only man who believed in him after everyone wrote off this aspiring shinobi to be useless after he couldn’t utilize basic ninjutsu. However, a lack of any chakra is replaced by a lot of training and heart, which Rock Lee has in spades.

It’s a shame that his presence and importance in the main plot waned during Shippuden since many people would’ve liked to see him flex more of his taijutsu skills in battle. However, Might Guy ended up being the preferred taijutsu fighter during big battles, which makes sense. Regardless, the sight of Rock Lee unconsciously standing up after being beaten down by Gaara will still send chills down the spines of mostNarutofans.

1Kakashi Hatake

Theson of the White Fangand the famous Copy Ninja, Kakashi is one of the strongest shinobi of all time even though he may not have access to his Sharingan anymore. If nothing else, his smooth talking and manipulation help him bend the will of other shinobis to do his bidding, no matter how stubborn he may be.

Kakashi’s allure as a character never fades throughoutNaruto. He is undoubtedly one of the show’s best characters and a perfect sensei to head a team of the three most talented genin in the series.
