Now, another user has shared a video of a funny event involving Semtex grenades that unfortunately led to their death.

A Reddit user named Tht1Knight has uploaded a video fromCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2with the title “unluckiest Semtex ever.” It features the player fighting an opponent on theBreenbergh Hotel map inModern Warfare 2, before deciding to throw a Semtex grenade in the hopes of getting the kill. Tht1Knight rushes towards the opponent after throwing the grenade, only to die to the Semtex immediately afterward. The kill cam reveals that the opposing player threw a Semtex right before Tht1Knight, as both grenades collided in mid-air and fell on the ground next to the Reddit poster.
The kill cam highlights the unlikely nature of this scenario, and Tht1Knight was probably not wrong to name this clip the unluckiest Semtex ever. Users in the comments section appear just as surprised, with one claiming to have never witnessed such an event during aCall of Dutymatch. Another player mentioned that this was the first time they saw a Semtex grenade stick to another lethal or tactical piece of equipment in mid-air, and many other fans are left wondering about the odds of it happening in a match ofCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Other users state that it’s difficult to get mad at dying in such a manner, perhaps due to the rarity of such an occurrence ever repeating. However, players have experienced other instances that unexpectedly led to their deaths inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
