Marvel’s Avengershas received a variety of updates and new cosmetics for fans since its release last year. The cosmetics and added content have spanned a large variety of themes, and the newest one will help connectMarvel’s Avengerswith the MCU.
For those who don’t know,Marvel’s Avengerslets players step into the shoes of some of Marvel’s biggest heroes like Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man. However, while some designs inMarvel’s Avengershave looked similarto their MCU counterparts, the heroes' appearances are all distinctly different because there thus far has been no direct correlation between the two entities.

However, that is all going to change with the newest Captain America cosmetic. Coming on June 24,Marvel’s Avengerswill have a crossover withAvengers: Endgameto feature Captain America’s suit from the movie in the game. Of course, it will not feature Chris Evans' likeness but still looks like a nice treat for fans of the cinematic universe. The new cosmetic was announced via the game’s official Twitter account and revealed that it will only be available through the in-game marketplace for players to purchase.Marvel’s Avengers' marketplace has featured a Black Widow MCU skinbefore and rotates new stock weekly.
The reaction to the costume within the community has been mixed. Many fans have expressed their excitement at the inclusion as the MCU is incredibly popular and many fans love having the universe’s iconic suits available in-game. Some of the excited fans have also voiced their support for an update to the game that would allow players to mix and match parts of their cosmetics so that they could use Captain America’s iconic shield design with other costumes. Of course, some members of the community are less excited about the costume and have instead taken the opportunity to voice their frustrations with some of the game’s issues, likeMarvel’s Avengersleaking the IP addresses of its players.
Regardless, it is great to seeMarvel’s Avengerscontinue to be supported by the developers. Hopefully, the team working on the game is able to address the issues that its fanbase is concerned about in the future. WithMarvel’s Avengersupcoming Black Panther updatethere is a lot coming to the game in the future for fans to be excited about. With the game having just received the new Cosmic Cube Patch as well, now is a great time for new and returning players to jump intoMarvel’s Avengers.
