With the release ofPatch 10.0.5on January 24th players inWorld of Warcraftcan now convert non-tier equipment into the Season 1 Tier gear. This upgrade system is similar to the Creation Catalyst system from Shadowlands. To get access to this new system there are a few simple steps players will need to complete to harness the full power of their gear.
While this system is wonderful for players looking to getbetter gear outside of raidingit does come fairly late, 6 weeks post-launch of the first raidVault of The Incarnates. This can be frustrating for players if their luck has been poor with loot drops, there are alsoa few limitationsto it that players might not be too happy with.

Where To Start Revival Catalyst Quest
Players will need to speak toWatcher Koranosat the top of theSeat of the AspectsinValdrakkento pick up the intro quest,Reviving the Machine. This quest will take players toAntukawho is in a building on the side of a mountain inThaldraszusfor the weekly questRevival Catalystto obtain Catalyst Charges. Completing the quests once will also complete it for all characters on your account.
How To Get Catalyst Charges In Dragonflight
There are a number of ways to get more Revival Catalyst Charges, also known asRenascent Lifeblood. Upon accepting the weekly questRevival Catalyst, players will see a progress bar under the tracked quest.
This means thatonly 1Renascent Lifebloodcan be obtained per week, meaning only one piece of gear can be converted per week.

How To Get Tier Set With Revival Catalyst
Once players have completed the weekly quest and obtained aRenascent Lifebloodthey can interact with the Revival Catalyst. Placing a non-tier item that is the same slot as the tier piece they wish to obtain (Head, Shoulders, Chest, Gloves, and Legs) will convert it to the same slot.Placing an item that is not a tier slot item will convert it to a random slot. Players will see a preview of the item they will receive and click Transform to convert the item and place it into their inventory. The former item will be destroyed as well.
