Tingyun, the Head Representative of the Whistling Flames inHonkai: Star Rail, is a charismatic and skilled character. Known for her silver-tongued nature and captivating storytelling, she excels in communication. Gameplay-wise, she is a Lightning element character on the harmony path and is widely considered as one of the top support charactersamong the 4-star roster.

With the ability to enhance her allies' ATK, DMG, and energy generation through her Ultimate, Tingyun is a valuable addition to versatile team compositions. Despite the different focus in their buffs, Tingyun and Bronya can synergize well together, making them an effective duo. As such, they also tend to benefit from same light cones. Fortunately, there are numerous light cone options available for both free-to-play and non-free-to-play players, providing a wide range of buffs to choose from that can be stacked over Tingyun’s already exceptional buffs inHonkai: Star Rail.
5Chorus
For F2P players without access to higher-tier light cones, the Chorus is an excellent choice. While obtainable through Gacha, it is a 3-star weapon, making it more accessible and easier to enhance. Its unconditional ATK buff for all allies is particularly valuable, especially in the early stages of the game. With its potential to greatly benefit the team, the Chorus proves to be an ideal light cone option for players looking to maximize their effectiveness without relying on higher rarity weapons. This especially becomes the case when players need to utilize multiple Harmony characters with limited options to choose from.
4Dance! Dance! Dance!
Tingyun, with her exceptional speed and energy generation potential, finds Dance! Dance! Dance! to be a suitable weapon choice. Its alignment with her first Eidolon, which boosts the speed of a blessed ally,enhances Tingyun’s overall performance. This light cone allows Tingyun to focus on an additional buff, not readily available through her kit, making it an excellent option for challenging battles against opponents with high speed or advanced abilities.
3Past and Future

Past and Future is an optimal 4-star light coneavailable to F2P playersupon clearing enough memory stages and can be obtained from the Forgotten Hall byusing Lucent Afterglow. It is currently the best F2P light cone option for Tingyun, who excels in her speed and energy generation capabilities. However, players should be cautious when using this weapon as it requires careful planning between character Speed values to ensure that the DPS character follows Tingyun’s Skill. Tingyun’s high speed value makes this less of a concern, but players should also monitor the speed of their Hunt path character, as they tend to have similarly high speed values.
2Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds

Carve the Moon, Weave the Clouds is aNameless Honor light conethat is highly recommended for players who have purchased the Nameless Glory and reach level 30 of this particular battle pass. The light cone features Tingyun’s artwork and is specifically designed for her, with all of its unique effects being stackable with Tingyun’s own buffs. While one of its effects is triggered randomly and therefore not entirely consistent, all of the effects are beneficial, making it a worthwhile addition to Tingyun’s arsenal. It also has a higher base ATK than most of the other Harmony light cones of same rarity, allowing Tingyun to be able to buff the teammates with a higher number since she scales with ATK.
1But The Battle Isn’t Over
But The Battle Isn’t Over,Bronya’s signature 5-star light cone, is currently the best Harmony path option available. Fortunately, players who possess this light cone but not Bronya can still effectively utilize it on Tingyun. It enables Tingyun to enhance her team’s buffs further while facilitating easier access to her own ultimate through its Energy Regeneration rate. The high base ATK of this 5-star light cone also complements Tingyun’s ATK scaling. However, if players have access to Bronya herself, it is recommended to equip it on her instead of Tingyun, as it synergizes better with Bronya’s abilitiesas a support character.
