One of the most captivating features inHogwarts Legacyappears to be its companion system. Thus far, there have been three companion characters revealed and detailed: Gryffindor’s Natsai Onai, Slytherin’s Sebastian Sallow, and Hufflepuff’s Poppy Sweeting. This seems to confirm that the pool of companions characters players will select from is made up entirely of fellow Hogwarts students, which makes sense asHogwarts Legacysimulates the Hogwarts experience in an action-RPG. Interestingly, a Ravenclaw companion character has either been neglected or omitted from marketing.
If this pattern of Hogwarts house companions seems to reveal anything, it is that a Ravenclaw student should also be contributing toHogwarts Legacy’s cast of companion characters. Ravenclaw’s house is known for its wisdom and wit, and it would be fun to converse with a Ravenclaw student in-depth to get a sense of what they might be like.Harry Potterdanced around its Ravenclaws as well, devoting less attention toward them than their Gryffindor and Slytherin classmates, and it would be a shame forHogwarts Legacyto neglect Ravenclaw in its companion character considerations.

Hogwarts Legacy May Be Hiding Its Fourth Student Companion
The only reason to assume that there will indeed be a student companion from Ravenclaw is thatHogwarts Legacyhas already revealed a student companion from Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff. It would be oddly out of place if Ravenclaw was the only house to not have a student companion represented. It is possible that players have seen them intrailers or teasers forHogwarts Legacyand not realized it was them who they saw, but fans will not know for certain who the Ravenclaw student companion is until they are confirmed. Players will seemingly be able to meet this companion during classes if they attend the same ones or are both fifth-year students.
Otherwise,if players decide to choose Ravenclaw as their ownHogwarts Legacyhouse, they may find the companion student hanging out in the Ravenclaw common room or dormitory. The companion characters revealed so far seem to have intriguing questlines to follow, and it would be exciting to see what other locations, characters, or abilities are introduced by a Ravenclaw student.

Hogwarts Legacy Needs a Ravenclaw Companion
IfHogwarts Legacyhad only revealed one student companion character, then the absence ofa student sorted into Ravenclaw Housewould not be as alarming. The only reason that one out of the fourth house companions may not be revealed yet is if they are integral toHogwarts Legacy’s narrative somehow.
If this is the case, and the Ravenclaw companion is a huge proponent in the story, then perhapsHogwarts Legacywould have been better off not revealing too many of its other companion characters. This has inevitably shone a spotlight on the one missing companion, and it may be underwhelming now if the Ravenclaw companion is not significant enough of a character to warrant such secrecy. Moreover, it may be even more disappointing if Ravenclaw simply does not offer a companion character from its students, hence why there has not been one revealed yet.
All is left up to speculation with regard to Ravenclaw and companion characters for now, butHogwarts Legacywill have to provide an answer sooner or later. That said, it is still a boon forHogwarts Legacythat not all its secrets are laid out yet, though what is still kept hidden will hopefully be worthwhile if it has been a glaring omission at this point in the game’s marketing.
