Right now inHearthstone, there are ten playable classes, each with their own unique set of cards, strengths, weaknesses, Hero Powers; sometimes even entire mechanics. Vastly different decks can be built within each class, making for a ton of creative use of different cards/strategies that few others might be using.

Decks can be built to reinforce a certain strength that a class might have, or a deck can be designed to help mitigate some of theweaknesses. The Paladin class is a good one to master.

10Dragons

One of the strongest aspects of the Paladin Class is its access to some seriously good dragon minions, and minions that buff dragons. Entire decks can be built around making use of dragons, and the Paladin Class is arguably the best Class available to do this with.

9Librams

One mechanic only available to the Paladin Class is their Librams. These librams buff minions and the cost of them can be reduced by playing certain minions. The cost of these librams can pretty easily be reduced to 0 Mana, meaning you can basically continuously buff your minions for free.

8Restore/Lifesteal

Many Paladin decks also make heavy use of restoring health, either with the Lifesteal trait on a weapon/minion or with a card that straight-up restores health on its own. There are, quite frankly, a ludicrous amount of cards in the Paladin Class capable of doing this, and your opponent is going to become beyond frustrated with how often it seems like they aren’t making any progress in putting the player in the ground.

7Murloc

The Paladin Class also has access to some pretty strong Murloc possibilities, too. Murgurgle Prime, for instance, is only possible with the Paladin deck, as is the super-useful Underlight Angling Rod; a weapon which adds a random Murloc to your hand when it attacks.

Dragon Paladin

Tip The Scales, a 7-cost spell, can summon 7 Murlocs from your deck at the same time, flooding the board with Murlocs and creating a truly volatile situation for your opponent in one turn.

6Libram Of Hope

The Libram Of Hope is a card that, likely, is going to draw some choice words from your opponent each time the player uses it. This card has a number of effects, all good for you, all irritating for your opponent: for the cost of 8-Mana, it restores 8 HP, summons an 8/8 Guardian, and that Guardian is equipped with both Taunt and Divine Shield. Unless your opponent has some kind of Removal on hand, this is going to create a severe roadblock for them, while at the same time getting the player back on their feet.

5Dragon Speaker

For a deck built around making heavy use of dragons, this minion is going to be an absolute must-have. A 5-cost, 3/5 minion, Dragon Speaker’s Battlecry gives every dragon in your hand +3/+3.

With a hand full of dragons, this is a pretty easy way to tip the scales in a match, giving you a severe, long-term advantage since players will have minions that are (or should be) much beefier than their opponents'.

4Libra Of Wisdom

The Libram of Wisdom is a 2-cost spell that gives a minion +1/+1 and a Deathrattle that adds a Libram of Wisdom spell to your hand. This is a great, easy, near-constant way to keep your minions buffed past their usual capabilities, and is cheap enough to remain flexible as far as how much Mana it’s going to cost each turn.

3Aldor Truthseeker

If a deck is built around the use of librams, this minion is going to be a staple. A 5-cost, 4/6 minion with Taunt, the Aldor Truthseeker reduces the cost of librams for the rest of the game by 2. For a Libram of Wisdom, that reduces the cost to 0, making it a free spell that buffs a target and gives it a Deathrattle that essentially returns the libram to the player’s hand when the minion dies.

2Aldor Attendant

Anothercardreducing the cost of librams, this time by 1. This is a 1-cost, 1/3 minion, called Aldor Attendant. There’s not much to say about it, other than that it’s a nice cheap card to help fill out your deck, while still performing a role in helping your deck’s meta-game come into fruition. A libram deck really has no excuse for not including this in it.

1Lady Liadrin

Finally, Lady Liadrin can be a crazy powerful card, especially in a deck that has a lot of minion-buffing, like a libram deck. Lady Liadrin is a 7-cost, 4/6 minion with a Battlecry that adds a copy of every spell that you’ve cast on a friendly character this game directly into your hand. With a libram deck, and especially late into the match, this spell can be utterly devastating for an opponent to deal with, allowing the player to buff any and all minions the player controls to the umpteenth-degree.
