Players who bonded with the Water Droplets in theGenshin ImpactVeluriyam Mirage may feel uneasy when faced with Hydro Phantasm of Fontaine. Similar to the Hydro Eidolon, the two have a body made of water, but unlike the Bottleland Droplets, Hydro Phantasm is aggressive and won’t hesitate to attack the players.
In Fontaine, Hydro Phantasms are considered Elite enemies, so their drop is only required for weapon Ascension material, and no character will need it for their Ascension. On top of them being Elite enemies, there are also two local legends that may grant an achievement upon being defeated. This pattern also exists in underwater exploration where beating bosses like Fading Veteran and Sword of the Gorge bestows achievement of the same name. As for the Hydro Phantasms, the twoGenshin Impactlocal legends are calledVivianne of the Lake and Ninianne of the Lake, and players can easily find them in their specific spots on the overground.
Vivianne of the Lake Location In Genshin Impact
Vivianne of the Lake inGenshin Impactcan be found north of Court of Fontaine, around the border of the region. This special Hydro Phantasm has a purple ritual circle around it, and it looks like it has a powerful aura.
Before approaching the local legend, it’shighly advised to make a proper team. Taking atop-tierGenshin Impactshielder like Zhongliis even better. Do not underestimate this enemy as Vivianne of the Lake packs a cruel punch that can down a non-HP-based characters in two hits or less.
As a Hydro Phantasm, Vivianne naturally has an innate Hydro, so players should avoid using Hydro and should opt for Elements that generateElemental Reactions like Pyro or Dendro. Cryo is not effective as this mini-boss is immune to Frozen.
The Vivianne of the Lake achievement inGenshin Impactwill appear once the boss is defeated, but unlike the underwater mini-bosses such as Ocean Circuit Judge and Iron Viscount, no Chest will appear upon downing the boss.
Ninianne of the Lake Location In Genshin Impact
Ninianne of the Lake inGenshin Impactcan be found north of Beryl Region or Elynas, around its sandy shores. Similar to Vivianne, Ninianne will also feature a purple ritual circle and emits a strange aura.
Like Vivianne, Ninianne of the Lake also owns a massive HP pool and hits really hard, so players should compose a proper team before facing this mini-boss. The Ninianne of the Lakeachievement inGenshin Impactwill be rewarded once the local legend is beaten. No Chest will spawn from this fight either.
