A newGenshin Impactleak reveals gameplay footage of a brand new World Boss that should arrive in the next update 3.6. As the Sumeru region keeps expanding with each new update, so does the number of different enemies that can be found all over the Dendro nation.

Just like in almost every other open-world RPG title, opponents inGenshin Impactcan have various difficulty classes, from Common Enemies to Weekly Bosses. Normal Bosses are usually stronger than the game’s Elite Enemies, and they offer various rewards that are used for leveling characters. Unlike Weekly Boss domains which can be farmed only once per week, players can constantly fight Normal Bosses and claim rewards as long as they have enough Resin.

Anew post on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddithas revealed a video showing the appearance and gameplay of a new boss domain which will feature amonster from the Abyss Order, one of the main antagonist factions in the game. The Order is known as a mysterious, but powerful group of creatures whose main goal is to dethrone the current gods of Teyvat. According to the video, the new Abyss monster can manipulate multiple elements at once and use different elemental shields. This means that players will have to adapt their team composition in order to break all of these shields.

Some players are worried that this will be one of the most annoyingGenshin Impactbosses to fight against due to its shielding powers. Some comments have pointed out that players will need to have at least one Pyro and one Hydro character in their party.Pyro is probably the most effective type of elemental damageas it counters three types of shields: Dendro, Cryo, and Electro. Hydro damage is very effective against Pyro shields and having these two elements in the same party would allow players to trigger Vaporize, one of the strongest elemental reactions in the game.

Some fans have also pointed out that the design of the new enemy seems odd compared to most Abyss monsters as it features two pairs of arms which is unusual for humanoid enemies in the game. Players also hope that the new enemy is weak to Dendro damage so they can use one of the two new characters that are confirmed forGenshin Impactupdate 3.6.

Both Baizhu and Kaveh are expected to use the Dendro element, and they will also have a similar role within most team comps which is support. However, as a new five-star character, Baizhu will also have the ability to heal his teammates.

Genshin Impactis available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
