A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed the lineup of enemies set to feature in the upper floors of the Spiral Abyss during the Version 3.7 update. The HoYoverse RPG has featured a wide variety of enemies throughout the game’s many regions, with everything from Hilichurls and Whopperflowers to the Ruin enemies and weekly bosses. The recentVersion 3.6 update introduced several new enemiesto the game, including new variants of the classic Hilichurls as well as a new enemy type dubbed the “Consecrated Beasts.” However, the game’s strongest foes come from the endgame Spiral Abyss.The Spiral Abyss serves asGenshin Impact’s main form of endgame content, featuring 12 floors for players to challenge powerful variants of the RPG’s enemies. Each new update brings a rotating lineup of enemies to the top four floors, typically focusing on new content, as well as unique buffs to aid players with teambuilding. Version 3.6’s update to the Spiral Abyss features two of Sumeru’s bosses in the Aeonblight Drake and Algorithm world bosses alongside Inazuma’s Maguu Kenki. Floor 11 is set to feature a mixture of elemental enemies tasking players with tackling Specters, Sawachurls, and Abyss Lectors among others during its early stages. Abyss Mages and Abyss Heralds will appear in the later chambers of Floor 11, featuring multiple different elementsrequiring players to build Spiral Abyss partiescapable of dealing with their elemental shields.
Floor 12 includes a mix of old and new enemies, capping off this Spiral Abyss rotation withGenshin Impact’s newest world boss. Earlier chambers of Floor 12 include a mix of elemental foes with multiple Whopperflowers, Abyss Mages, and Abyss Heralds and Lectors challenging players. Chamber 2 contains Sumeru’s two original world bosses with the Jadeplume Terrorshroom and the Electro Regisvine making an appearance. The final chamber of the Spiral Abyss featuresGenshin Impact’s newest enemies, the Consecrated Beasts, as well asthe Iniquitous Baptist world bossintroduced in Version 3.6.
The new lineup of enemies to challenge in the Spiral Abyss comes as just one part of the new content expected forGenshin Impact’s Version 3.7.HoYoverse revealed Kirara earlier this weekasGenshin Impact’s next character, confirming her as the newest addition to the game’s roster from Inazuma. Leaks have also suggested Version 3.7 will feature a free weapon with its flagship event, as well as re-runs of popular characters like Yae Miko and Yoimiya. Version 3.7’s Spiral Abyss will bring new endgame challenges forGenshin Impact’s devoted fanbase.
