Genshin Impact’s most recent leak has given players a better idea about the design of the rumored Inazuma Electro character, expected to release with Version 3.8. The HoYoverse RPG has seen plenty of rumors about the newest characters to join its roster with several already seeing designs, names, and elements leaked. Inazuma’s Kirara has become one of the most prominent leaked characters, originallybelieved to be a new Geo characterand later confirmed as Dendro. Recent leaks have also seen an unnamed Electro character from Inazuma surface as a potential new cast member.
The new character hailing from Inazuma was first revealed last week as another new roster member fromGenshin Impact’s Japan-inspired region. The RPG has not seen a new character hailing from the island nation since the launch of Kuki Shinobu in Version 2.7 last May. The unnamed female character has already been confirmed to use the Electro element, with leaks also suggesting she will release as a four-star unit. Now, the unnamed Inazuma character has received the first leaks showing off her extravagant design.

A new update from prominentGenshin Impactleaker Tao has revealed a fan approximation of the new Electro character’s design. TheElectro character features similar elementsto a previous leak, sporting multiple hairpieces inspired by the pick implement for a shamisen. The character dons a yellow and black dress with floral designs adorning the long hanging sleeves of the outfit. Tao would acknowledge that the artwork was not a perfect match, citing elements like other floral adornments on the dress, but referred to the design as being the “most similar” rendition so far.
While not much is known about the character’s weapon or identity withinGenshin Impact, fans have already begun to speculate about her role. Many have likened her supposed elegant design and demeanor to a performer, speculating the character may act as a musician within Inazuma.Genshin Impacthas already featured multiple characters with musical elements from bards like Venti to morerock-focused characters like Xinyan. The mystery Electro character is currently expected to launch during July’s Version 3.8 update.
New characters have been a major focus ofGenshin Impact’s recent leaks, featuring several unannounced characters set to arrive to the game. Leaks so far have shown characters as far off as the Fontaine update, withmultiple cast members from the Hydro Archon’s regionhaving their in-game models revealed. Other new characters from past regions have also been heavily teased, including the long-awaited introduction of the Knights of Favonius' Varka among others. Between Kirara in 3.7 and the Electro character in 3.8, fans of Inazuma have plenty to look forward to fromGenshin Impact.
