Next up,Valve has delayed the Steam Deck, pushing the console out to February 2022. The company cited supply chain issues as the primary driver behind the delay, causing all pre-orders in the queue to be moved back further. It wasn’t alone, either, as Sony is cutting PS5 manufacturing by 1,000,000 units due to similar issues. The consoles have already been difficult to find, and things will now be more strained.
Additionally,Grand Theft Auto Trilogy - Definitive Editionis being rolled online right now, as players criticize its visuals, bugs, and Rockstar’s failure to show gameplay prior to launch. It’s a disappointing release, though the developer behind the remaster is at least promising improvements.
Finally, Todd Howard Revealed a few new details about the company’s projects in an interview with IGN. The interview was fairly wide-ranging, touching onStarfield,Fallout 5,andThe Elder Scrolls 6. While there wasn’t a ton of major details, it’s at least promising for the next few years of Bethesda.
