Forza Horizon 5is out now and racing enthusiasts are already working hard to unlock the game’s hundreds of vehicles. There are a variety of ways forForza Horizon 5players to unlock access to new vehicles, including the game’s slot machine-like Wheelspin feature. What’s perhaps unsurprising is that some impatientForza Horizon 5players have decided to capitalize on an exploit involving these Wheelspins to earn rewards much faster than intended. Naturally, the team at Playground has issued a hotfix straight away.
In a surprisingly robust update forForza Horizon 5issued on November 17, over 30 different issues plaguing the game since launch were fixed. Most prominent among these issues were several exploits taking advantage of the racing game’s online progression systems. The exploit involved purchasing a relatively cheap car named the 1945 Willys MB Jeep, earning a handful of Skill Points, and getting aSuper Wheelspin, before repeating the process.

MostForza Horizon 5players likely never encountered or partook in an exploit. However, many likely ran into some of the game’s more frequent bugs. For example,Forza Horizon 5has been plagued by online disruptions, forcing players to rush out of their menus to try and reestablish a connection to Horizon Life. Or when players matchmaking into Horizon Life and their vehicles stops suddenly regardless of how fast they’re moving. Also,Eliminatorplayers likely know the pain of being eliminated, but having to wait around waiting for the servers to finally remove them. That’s been fixed, too.
While the update does address many ofForza Horizon 5’s most pressing issues, it hasn’t fixed every problem. In fact, the Forza Support Team has a list of hundreds of known issues that have yet to be fixed, most of which are small but many that can be frustrating.
For aslarge of a game asForza Horizon 5is, the list of issues is fairly well contained. It’s inevitable that there will be some issues, with millions of players experiencing the game in ways the developers may never have predicted. At the very least, no serious problems impacting a significant amount of players' progress or fun.
What’s perhaps most important is thatPlaygroundis quickly responding to the existing issues inForza Horizon 5. Today, over 30 known issues were fixed. While there are many more, players can see that Playground is working hard and fast to reduce that number to zero.
