ThroughoutDawntrail, players will be tasked with exploring dungeons, though some may have tricky mechanics that could require multiple attempts to conquer. Twitter user FrostyTVstream posted a video from theFinal Fantasy 14: Dawntrailmedia tour of onebig change arriving with the expansionthat should make recovering from total party wipes much quicker. During a run in the level 91 dungeon called Ihuykatumu, Frosty’s Pictomancer took a hit that immediately knocked them out and sent them to the dungeon’s entrance. However, Frosty noted that the shortcut option available at the entrance took him immediately to the arena where the boss was waiting.Final Fantasy 14players can currently take a shortcut following a wipe, but they will appear in the halls leading up to the boss' arena and be forced to walk the rest of the way.
