The number of events inFinal Fantasy 14has really increased ahead of the new Dawntrail Expansion. Whether this is to entice new players or break up the monotony amongveterans preparing for the expansionis difficult to say. However, players rarely turn down the opportunity to collect new glamor pieces and minions. It is no surprise that the return of the Dragon Quest 10 Crossover Event has led to a surge of players.

How To Participate In The Dragon Quest Crossover Event
To participate in the Dragon Quest 10 Crossover Event, Breaking Brick Mountains, players need to begin the quest chain bytalking to Havak AlvakinUl’dah.He is a Lalfell found in theSteps of Naldat(X:12.1, Y:8.2).
Havak will send you to speak with a Beefy Businessman found inUl’dah - Steps of Naldat(X:8.2, Y:12.3).Agree to his request when given the option, and complete the required FATEs. Once you have done so, return to the businessman with the Brick Chunk quest item for your rewards.

To pick up the quest, players must currently be playing as a job that is level seven or higher.
Finding & Completing The Breaking Brick Mountain FATEs
Once you have agreed to take on the Beefy Businessman’s challenge, you will need to complete three FATEs:
These FATEs are interconnected, and will spawn quickly in succession. Stay in the same area after the first and second to continue the FATE chain.

FATE Spawn Locations
There are four known spawn locations for the event FATES, all of which occur in A Realm Reborn areas. They appear to spawn randomly every 30 to 40 minutes.

Rewards For Completing The Dragon Quest 10 Crossover Event
Once players have given the Beefy Businessman the Brick Chunk, he will reward them with aWind Up Brickman Minion, and a Thug’s Mug Helm.
While you may replay the event questline using a feature called Season Event Replay (Similar toNew Game +) duplicate rewards are not allowed. If a character has completed this event during one of the previous runs, they will receive nothing.

How To Get The Slime King’s Crown
