As with any MMO, the Warrior inFF14will only be as efficient as the gear and loadout they have. And with other MMOs, Warriors have weapons that help them excel in their role as tanks and damage-dealers in any party. However, just which weapons fit them best?
10Palaka Bardiche
Serving as a part of the Palaka Fending Set, thePalaka Bardicheis a decent addition to the set’s offering of decent defensive additions. Boasting an Item Level of 536, the Palaka Bardiche has 106 Physical Damage with an Auto Attack threshold of 118.72. Being a heavy-hitting weapon, it’s expected for the Palaka Bardiche to prioritize more Strength and Tenacity compared to its Critical Hit. Moreover, its Vitality bonus is a decent way to add tankiness to the Warrior, especiallywhen supported by Jobs like the Scholar.
Players can obtain the Palaka Bardiche from inside the Vanaspati Dungeon inEndwalker, with a required Level of 85.

9Manganese Axe
What better way to equip the Manganese Behemoth King set than with a weapon that reflects such majesty - and theManganese Axeis an interesting weapon of choice. While its Physical Damage and Auto Attack aren’t as desirable compared to other weapons, it does have decent Strength, Critical Hit, and Vitality. Sadly, its Tenacity isn’t as high as well.
Thankfully, the Manganese Axe is easily acquired via the Junkmonger or from an Ironwood Weapon Coffer. This makes it a decent starting weapon for the endgame inEndwalker, with an Item Level of 539.

8Ktiseos War Axe
For a ceremonial-looking garb like the Ktiseos Fending Set, theKtiseos War Axeis a befitting choice for the Warrior Job. Boasting an Item Level of 542, the Ktiseos War Axe has 107 Physical Damage with an Auto Attack of 119.84. What’s perhaps interesting is the equal prioritization towards Strength, Critical Hit, and Vitality bonuses. Determination suffers from a rather lackluster addition, but the War Axe compensates forthe focus on heavy damage.
Players can obtain the Ktiseos War Axe from the Ktisis Hyperboreia Dungeon inEndwalker, with a required Level of 87. It has an Average Item Level of 515 upon acquisition.

7Chondrite Magitek Axe
Warriors who can look no further than the Chondrite Fending Set for a more steampunk look as they drop fierce justice to opponents, and theChondrite Magitek Axebalances a sturdy hammer and fierce axe aesthetic. Granted, the Magitek Axe suffers from a rather low Physical Attack rating and rather middling Auto Attack damage. However, its stats compensate with decent Strength and Vitality ratings, as well as beneficial bonuses to Determination and Tenacity.

Fans might not appreciate that this boasts an Item Level of 545, but it’s a decent weapon to acquire considering it’seasily craftablevia the Chondrite Weapon Coffer.
6Gigantaxe
TheGigantaxebears an awesome name for a fierce-looking weapon, and it sure feels like a weapon destined fora Job that can ear through opponents. Its 111 Physical Damage and 124.32 Auto Attack is a decent upgrade compared to its other counterparts. And while Critical Hit doesn’t get as many bonuses compared to Strength, Vitality, and Determination, Gigantaxe remains a decent callback to the popular weapon in the franchise.
Players can obtain the Gigantax from Varsarudh, in the Agora in Old Sharlayan. It has an Item Level of 550.

5Moonward War Axe
The sheer elegance of the Moonward Warding set is reflected in theMoonward War Axe, this time boasting blades on each side with an ornate angle. It has a particular focus on tearing through enemy foes unlike other Jobs likethe Gunslinger and the Dancer, explaining the high bonuses on Strength, Critical Hit, and Vitality but not much on Determination. Either way, its base 113 Physical Damage on top of 126.56 Auto Attack makes it quite a deadly weapon on the get-go.
Players can acquire the Moonward War Axe upon acquisition of the Allagan Tomestone of Aphorism, or from Cihanti from Radz-at-Han. It has an Item Level of 570.

4Classical Battleaxe
Nothing beats the classics, and it’s exactly what theClassical Battleaxerepresents among the Warrior’s weapons. While the Classical Battleaxe doesn’t boast as high base stats compared to other weapons, it does compensate for focusing on Determination more than Critical Hit. Regardless, its 103 Physical Damage is significantly lower than other weapons in the list, explaining its status as an item of ordinary rarity.

Players can acquire the Classical Battleaxe via crafting, with a recipe acquired from Master Blacksmith IX. It has an Item Level requirement of 580.
3Radiant’s Battleaxe
TheRadiant’s Battleaxehas that stylish look of a battleaxe created from the essence of darkness, and it has the stats to back it up. Its 117 Physical Damage and 131.04 Auto Attack remain decent for base stats, and its Strength, Vitality, and Determination bonuses are quite above average on the scale. There’s a cost in the form of lackluster Critical Hit, which emphasizes the Radiant’s Battleaxe as a heavy damage weaponfor tanks and frontline Jobs.
To acquire the Radiant’s Battleaxe, they need to acquire this from Cihanti at Radz-at-Han via the Allagan Tomestone of Astronomy and the Discal Tomestone.

2Augmented Radiant’s Battleaxe
Players at some point get the option to upgrade the Radiant’s Battleaxe, and it’s worth the modification considering the sheer benefits of obtaining anAugmented Radiant’s Battleaxefora tanking Job like the Warrior. While the Physical Damage boost from 117 to 119 isn’t as high, the stat boosts are fairly decent on the get-go. Granted, Critical Hit is still abysmal given its 100-point difference compared to the other stats but is still higher compared to most high-level gear.
To acquire this, players need a Radiant Roborant to apply to their Radiant’s Battleaxe, with Khaldeen in Radz-at-Han providing the materials.

1Asphodelos War Hammer
TheAsphodelos War Hammerhas a regal feel to it, particularly with its marble-looking colors and its sturdy feel. Its 120 Physical Damage is extremely close to the Augmented Radiant’s Battleaxe, but the rest of its stats are significantly greater. At its core, the Asphodelos War Hammer emphasizes Strength, Vitality, and even decent Critical Hit. Its Determination isn’t as high, but it may not make a differencein pure damage builds.
Players can obtain the Asphodelos War Hammer via the Asphodelos Weapon Coffer, or obtained from the Asphodelos Mythos IV of either Djole in Radz-at-Han or Mylenie at Labyrinthos.
