Granted, those who start out with a rating somewhere in the sixties can usually be picked up for relatively small amounts, but the game’s very best young talents tend to be rated highly right from the get-go, meaning that players will need to spend millions of pounds if they’re to have any hope of signing them.

For those looking to take their teams to the next level though, there really are no better options, at least not until they’ve had a chance to build up a decent scouting network, that is. TheseFIFA 23wonderkids all have the potential to reach at least a 90 rating, making them ideal players to build a team around or great options for those looking to turn a healthy profit through player development.
The following list contains every player with a potential rating of 90 or higher inFIFA 23, with the exception of those who are aged over 25 at the beginning of the game.

Some players have impressed in the first half of the season, which has seen their base ratings and overall potential in FIFA 23 increase. Others have flattered to deceive though, and this has in turn led to the statisticians at EA revising their earlier predictions. As a result, the list of FIFA 23 players with 90+ potential has changed quite a bit. Players like Joao Felix and Federico Chiesa no longer feature, while Arsenal starlet Bukayo Saka just creeps in after seeing his potential rise to 90 in the December update. A lot of the players with potential just below 90 have changed too, so those looking for FIFA 23 career mode wonderkids may want to take note.

*Jamie Tartt and his AFC Richmond teammates are fictional players from the television showTed Lasso. AsAFC Richmond can be used inFIFA 23’s career mode, Tartt and all of the other players from the show can technically be signed. Though not quite as good, his teammate Sam Obisanya also has high potential, with players able to take him from an 81 rating up to a rather impressive 88.
Other High Potential Players Worth Signing in FIFA 23
For those who can’t quite afford to signFIFA 23’s highest-rated players, yet would prefer not to start their career with a team made up of players rated below 70, there are plenty of other great options to choose from. The following players fall just short of 90, but each offers potential growth of at least 10, making them excellent picks for those looking for signings that will increase in value throughout the course of their careers. They’re still pretty expensive, though the cost of signing them is generally a lot more reasonable than signing one of the aforementioned 90+ potential players.
