Building A Homestead
Players will need to have homesteads to advance their town center to tier three. These homesteads are upgraded versions of the shelter, the basic housing unit available from the start. To upgrade them, players are going to need to meet some standards and gather the appropriate materials.
Upgrade Requirements
The most complicated of these requirements and the one that will prevent most players from progressing is the 30% desirability.Increasing desirabilitycan be done by building homes close to nice buildings and decorations while keeping industrial buildings far away.

Herbs are gathered by foragers, it shouldn’t be difficult to find just one needed to advance. Early on, players will use hunting and fishing asideal food sourcesbut farms and foraging should provide the shelters with vegetables so they can advance.
Upgrade Cost
These costs are fairly negligible as players will have been using these items well before this point. Logs are everywhere and can be attained quickly by having a villager chop down a tree. Wood Planks come from a Saw Pit under the Resources tab.
Wood Planks are easy to make but often in hot demand as most upgrades require them. Don’t be afraid to prioritize the homesteads if they are preventing progress into tier three.Getting more woodshould be something every successful village can do in a hurry.
