The primary habitat of Mega Sloths is the Mire region, situated east of Appalachia. Players are likely to encounter a group of Mega Sloths hanging from trees located to the south of Southern Belle Motel. Other notable spots for encountering Mega Sloths includethe abandoned areas around Tanagra Town, Sunday Brothers’ Cabin, and Dabney Homestead.
Players are also likely to encounter Mega Sloths in the Cranberry Bog area. However, the forests in the Mire are the most probable locations for finding them.
If Mega Sloths are not present in the mentioned locations, try server hopping. Simply return to the main menu and re-enter the game to check these areas again.
How to Take a Camera Picture of a Sloth
To complete the Weekly Challenge “Take a Camera Picture of a Mega Sloth,” players need to unlock and repairthe ProSnap Deluxe Camera. Once they have this item in their inventory, they must locate a live or deceased Mega Sloth and capture a picture using the ProSnap Deluxe Camera. It’s important to note that using the game’s photo mode option will not fulfill this quest.
For those interested in unlocking the ProSnap Deluxe Camera, it’s achieved by completing the “Suspicious Person” quest. This quest initiates once the player constructsa Terminal in their CAMPand activates Automated Alerts. How to Tame a Mega Sloth
To domesticate a Mega Sloth, players need to havea Level Three Animal Friend perk card. This perk enables the player to pacify the giant sloth, granting them an opportunity to “tame” it. Once tamed, the Mega Sloth will be added to the player’s current active CAMP. However, it’s important to note that the sloth will physically walk to the player’s CAMP and won’t instantly appear there.
