Summary
Fallout 4sees the Sole Survivor wake up from a 200-year slumber and venture into the Commonwealth without knowing anyone - other than their Mister Handy robot Codsworth, of course. As they begin their journey to make sense of the radiated world and find their son, they come across all kinds of characters that have adapted to the unforgiving wasteland.

Among the people the player meets inFallout 4, a handful are hard to forget due to their charm, wit, and overall charisma.Charisma plays a large part in the gameas a skill, as one of the seven statistics in the SPECIAL system. The skill can be used to influence and barter with others, which the Sole Survivor and other characters use to their advantage.
7Cait
By the timethe player meets Cait, she’s gone through hell and back from a young age. Despite being owned by various nefarious people throughout the Commonwealth - and being used as entertainment in places like the Combat Zone - Cait has adapted to fend for herself with her strength and charm.
While she’s attempted to numb the pain with alcohol and Psycho, her troubles have certainly not dampened her spirit. Despite all she’s been through, her resilience shines through her tough facade and makes her one of the most charismatic companions for the Sole Survivor.

6Nick Valentine
Nick Valentine is a noir private detective, which is an automatic charisma boost. Nick’s sultry Transatlantic accent alone boosts his charm. And if the player (or other characters) are less than kind to him with dialogue options, they’ll hear a never-ending list of sarcastic put-downs that are hard to top.
There’s a reason why Nick has become Diamond City’s top detective, and it’s not just because of his sleuthing skills. While most ofDiamond City’s residentsare respectful (he did save the mayor’s daughter, after all), they’re also wary of him being a synth. But there’s no denying that Nick has an aura that makes him incredibly hard not to like.

5Whitechapel Charlie
Mister Handy robots are charismatic by design, but there are some unique versions that the Sole Survivor will come across as they explore the Commonwealth. Of course, it’s hard to beat the loveable and appeasing nature of Codsworth, who’s been waiting for its owner to return since the Great War took place. But meeting Whitechapel Charlie for the first time almost makes Codsworth obsolete.
If players aren’t swayed by the bowler hat and Union Jack decal, the bot’s cockney accent and pre-war British slang are enough to make them want to take him on a journey around the wasteland.

4Deacon
Nick Valentine may be the best at dealing out sarcastic remarks, but Deacon tops that trait with his (lovingly) incessant quips. Deacon is the best choice if players are looking for a companion to roll their eyes at in delight.
RELATED:Fallout 4: How To Find The Railroad (Freedom Trail Location)
While he remainssomewhat mysterious about his past, Deacon will stop at nothing to help the Sole Survivor on their quest to conquer the Commonwealth – even if that means putting his life in danger. Of all the factions to join, Deacon’s unfaltering charm is hard not to resist when deciding whether to join the Railroad.
3John Hancock
John Hancock exudes charisma, being the mayor of Goodneighbor and all. He knows how to rally and encapture a crowd and does so with ease, even in front of strangers like the Sole Survivor. Like Cait,Hancock hasn’t had the easiest ride. But he was confident (or stupid) enough to try an experimental drug that would either kill or ghoulify him.
Hancock doesn’t regret this decision one bit, which players would believe would have been out of spite for his brother, Mayor McDonough, inciting an anti-ghoul campaign to become a mayor of Diamond City. But, to put it simply, Hancock was after one last high.

2Oswald The Outrageous
Introducedin the Nuka-World DLC, Oswald the Outrageous is a glowing ghoul and a talented jack of all trades. He prides himself on being an entertainer and magician by trade, and these professions automatically make him one of the most charismatic characters inFallout 4.
He’s constantly putting on a show in the Kiddie Kingdom to keep the Raiders that have called the park their home at bay. Though not a major character inFallout 4, Oswald has a significant presence with Nuka World, often commentating on the Sole Survivor’s activities through the theme park’s announcement system.

1Magnolia
Magnolia isn’t a central character inFallout 4, but she does leave a lasting impression. The Sole Survivor meets her at The Third Rail in Goodneighbor, where she is employed by the Mister Handy bot Whitechapel Charlie to sing and entertain the patrons.
Magnolia is a significant draw to the establishment, coupled with the drinks that Whitechapel Charlie provides. The player can converse with Magnolia, who has the sophisticated manner of a femme fatale in line with Nick Valentine. And while she can’t become a companion, she can be romancedif the player has high enough charisma. To top it all off, she’s voiced by Lynda Carter, the original Wonder Woman.

Fallout 4is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S.
