Falls Guys: Ultimate Knockouthas been a breakout hit since its original release, and it’s not stopping anytime soon. The game continues to receive player support and new content, whether it’snewFall Guysskinsor seasonal content. However, one thing players have been looking forward to is potential launch on other gaming platforms.
Recently, aFall Guysblog post announced that the game’s launch onto Xbox and Nintendo Switch will be delayed for some time. The developers will not be able to meet the previously announced 2021 summer release for the game on either platform. However, the post also revealed the delays will allow the development team to add crossplay intoFall Guys.

According to the post, the original 2021 summer launch forFall Guyson the Xboxand the Nintendo Switch was too soon for the developers. Mediatonic is still working on getting the various new features in order for the game on the different platforms. However, the developers still want to launchFall Guyson Xbox and Switch and believe the launches on those platforms will be well worth the wait for players.
However, the post adds that with the delay, Mediatonic will be able to addcrossplay inFall Guys. With more time, the team can add crossplay and other new features into the game when the developers addFall Guysto the other gaming platforms. This way, players will be able to engage in multiplayer fun onFall Guysand enjoy its new features, too.
The post also reveals what’s next forFall Guys. Previously, the developer announced it joined Epic Games in March, which provided it access to new tools for game design. Now, Mediatonic is growing its development team to further support the game and delivernew content forFall Guys. According to the post, the team will still maintain its same spirit and will continue to release new Seasonal content, fresh new Shows, Costumes, Rounds, and other activities and goodies players have enjoyed.
The latest addition will be theFall GuysSeason 4.5 update that will come with two new Rounds for players, and new Fall-oriented designs for players' Season 4 costume selection. However, there is no release date for the new seasonal update, but the team assures players that it will keep them informed and up-to-date when there is one. By the end, the developers state that there will still be plenty of new updates to come forFall Guysin the future and that players' patience and support will be rewarded.
