Amber is one of the trickier materials to find inEnshrouded, and players might have a hard time getting the amount they need for their crafting and upgrading projects. Luckily, there are specific spots on the map where Amber is plentiful.
Even if you aren’t actively making gear from the Alchemist, Amber is still going to be a necessary resource forstrengthening your Flame. If you’re one of many other Flameborn looking to get as much of these materials as they can, here are a couple of the best Amber farming spots inEnshrouded.

Where to Find Amber in Enshrouded
You can find large Amber nodes along the hills and mountainsides ofRevelwood— particularly in the area right next to the region’s Ancient Spire. The crags you’re looking for are steeped within the Shroud, so ensure you havea long enough survival timerif you plan on staying long.
From the Ancient Spire, jump off the northern or eastern balcony, then glide towards the spots indicated in the image above. You’ll find Amber veins along the eastern base of the valley. The closest Amber vein is fairly small, but it’s more than enough to satisfy your most immediate of needs.

In contrast, the Amber vein to the north is much larger. If you plan on mining the entire thing, bring a second pickaxe, as your first one will likely break first. We highly recommend gliding toward the northern Amber vein from the spire so you’re able to avoid needless combat against the Fell lurking inside the Shroud.
What Is Amber For?
Amber is needed for a Flame Altar upgrade as well as a number of mid-tier crafting recipes from the Blacksmith, Hunter, and Alchemist, including:
You’ll also need a lot of Amber to craftFireball Staff Charges. However, you may mostly disregard this once you’ve unlocked Eternal Fireball or the Eternal spell for the element you prefer. These won’t cost any Staff Charges, but they will still eat through your mana, so consider increasing your Mana Regeneration if you plan on creating a spellcaster build.

It’s possible that future game updates may add more recipes that require Amber. Don’t throw them away once you’ve crafted what you need.Enshroudedstill has a long way to go before it graduates from early access, so expect to see more content as the game evolves.
