The first set of images from the much-awaitedEnola Holmes 2have been released by Netflix, bringing back Millie Bobby Brown as the teen sleuth. Netflix also confirmed a release date of November 4, which means the film will premiere on the streaming giant in less than three months.
The images fromEnola Holmes 2have fans feeling excited, as it invites them back into the world of mystery with the Holmes' siblings. While Brown’s Enola makes a comeback,Henry Cavill also returns to reprise his roleas the famous detective Sherlock. It remains to be seen where their journey will take them this time around, but based on the brief synopsis released, the film will be focusing on Enola’s first case of a missing girl.

The first official photos fromEnola Holmes 2features Brown’s titular character in some intense situations. It seems like she will have to face arrest in the process of solving the crime. When things get tough, she will have to rely on her friends and brother Sherlock for assistance. Louis Partridge returns as Viscount Tewkesbury, whereasHelena Bonham Carter is seenreprising the role of Enola’s mother, Eudoria. The photos also offer a sneak peek at a new character portrayed by Sharon Duncan-Brewster as she attends what seems like an elite party.
Apart from the actors in the images, it is already known that the cast of the upcoming film also includes David Thewlis, Susan Wokoma, Hannah Dodd, and Adeel Akhtar. Some of these actors did make an appearance in thefirstEnola Holmes 2posterthat Netflix revealed earlier. The mysterious poster, which adapts a “Where’s Waldo” theme, invited fans to look for the various characters in a busy crowd.
The poster could be a hint towards the film’s plot, where Enola will be seen looking for a missing girl. The firstEnola Holmesfilm was based on the first book in a young adult novel series written by Nancy Springer. It seems liketheEnola Homessequelwill be based on the second book, titledThe Case of the Left-Handed Lady, in which Enola goes on a case to track the missing Lady Cecily Alistair. The case is obviously not as simple as it looks, and Enola will have to deal with a conspiracy and danger.
Enola Holmes 2is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on June 22, 2025.
