Radagon of The Golden Order is another famousElden Ringboss that players must defeat to complete the main story. Although not as difficult as Malenia, Radagon is quite challenging because it is a two-phase fight as he transforms into the Elden Beast when defeated. The second battle phase begins right after killing Radagon when a cutscene shows his transformation into the Elden Beast. However, one unfortunateElden Ringplayer suffered quite an anti-climactic ending to the Radagon of The Golden Order boss fight.

Reddit user Urgent_Asap uploaded a short video showing their ill-fated encounter withRadagon of The Golden Order. The clip shows an intense battle between the player and Radagon, with the former seemingly in complete control of the fight. The user can be seen dodging Radagon’s attacks while landing consecutive hits with a great sword, nearly depleting his health bar. After landing a few successful strikes, Urgent_Asap manages to defeat theElden Ringboss, but their joy is cut short due to a surprising reason.
As soon as the user kills Radagon of The Golden Order, their screen is flashed with a warning message from the game. The message says that their game has been disconnected from theElden Ringservers and will return to the title screen, losing all progress made in the fight. The user was understandably distraught by this prompt as they seemed to be in control of the battle, as they had ten unused Flasks of Crimson Tears when they killed the first phase of thefinalElden Ringboss. Meanwhile, some Reddit users were amused by Urgent_Asap’s misfortune, while others were sympathetic and called out the devs for not fixing this issue.
Radagon of The Golden Order is arguably the most crucialElden Ringcharacter from a lore point of view. He was once married to Rennala, Queen of The Full Moon, but became consort to Queen Marika when she exiled Godfrey, The First Elden Lord. After making significant progress inBrother Corhyn’s questline inElden Ring, it is revealed that Radagon is the male half of Marika.
