How Does St. Trina’s Torch Work?

Torches in Elden Ring are not typically meant to be treated as weapons, but just like shields, players can push their damage capabilities to incredible limits. Even so, St. Trina’s Torch is not known for its power. Instead, it has gained fame for its unique Ash of War called Fires of Slumber.

When using the weapon skill, the player uses the torch to breathe a beautiful purple flame onto the ground. While it looks like fire, these flames of slumber unfortunately deal no damage. Instead, they inflict sleep buildup on any enemy coming into contact with the flame. Casting the skill requires 15 FP, and the flame lasts for around five seconds.
