ThroughoutElden Ringthere are a number of Rises that can be found, but most of them are sealed shut and require players to solve a nearby puzzle to gain entry.Renna’s Riseis a little bit different - instead of solving puzzles or jumping onto a jutting balcony, players need to progress significantly through one ofthe game’s most interesting storylines.
The witch Renna, who players first meet in Limgrave’sChurch of Elleh, later reveals her true name to be Ranni. HerElden Ringquestline can be started by talking to her again at the top of Ranni’s Rise, while Renna’s Rise remains sealed shut until a few things have happened in the questline.

Updated Jun 17, 2025 by Erik Petrovich: If you head to the Three Sisters, a location that can only be reached by beating Caria Manor, you may find Renna’s Rise blocked. One of the eponymous three sisters, players will find Renna’s rise blocked for now until they figure out how to get past the seal. There are a lot of steps to open Renna’s Rise in Elden Ring, and it can be confusing to follow each of the many steps required – and that’s not to mention the many steps in Ranni’s questline that follow. This guide to how to get into Renna’s Rise has been updated with a video tutorial to show players exactly what they need to do, and where they need to go, to open Renna’s Rise.
Where Is Renna’s Rise?
In Northern Liurnia there is a location just past theThe Four Belfriescalled The Three Sisters, which consists ofRanni’s Rise, Renna’s Rise, andSeluvis’s Rise. The most northern of the three towers, players find Renna’s Rise blocked shut by a magical barrier.
The Three Sisterscan’t be accessed just from anywhere, though: players have to go through Caria Manor, a misty and mysterious Legacy Dungeon that houses some ofElden Ring’s most terrifying foes.

To get here, start from the Converted Tower Site of Grace in southwest Liurnia and head directly north for a while, even going past the Four Belfries. Avoid the hail of arrows that rain down from above as you approach the entrance, and be sure to light the grace just outside the entrance.
Be sure to bring a source of Fire damage as it stuns Fingercreepers and deals ridiculously increased damage to them. There are many hand-spiders hidden in the ground, waiting for players to pick up a lure item or wander across them unknowingly before springing to life.

Carefully navigate your way up the hill from the entrance and into the church. From here, head across the ramparts, up the stairs, and past a few groups of enemies to find a large pool surrounded by chairs.Fight Royal Knight Lorettaand you will be able to access the Three Sisters area.
