Summary

OneDragon’s Dogma 2player has found a clever trick to handle wolves that can sometimes be very frustrating to deal with. Wolves inDragon’s Dogma 2are greedy animals often found roaming in the woods. They move faster than many other enemies, hunt in packs, and lunge at players to bite them. Like Goblins and Ogres, these regular mobs are weak against fire elemental attacks.

There are a number ofvile creatures inDragon’s Dogma 2, including Cyclops, Golems, and Chimeras, which give players a real combat challenge. They have their own method of attack; for example, Saurians swing their spear-like weapons to deal damage while Golems fire laser beams at players from a distance. These enemies drop materials that can be used to enhance items in weapon and armor shops. Performing a specific elemental attack,Dragon’s Dogma 2players can beat them faster than usual.

After 80 hours of playthrough, oneDragon’s Dogma 2player known on Twitter as Prizzaa has discovered a trick that helps them distract wolves. As seen in the clip, when the player drops one piece of meat on the ground, wolves stop attacking them to chow it down. While these greedy animals enjoy their meal, the Arisen take a few steps back and burn them with High Salamander, one of the skills players can unlock by leveling upDragon’s Dogma 2’s Sorcerer Vocation.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Meat Trick is Great for Sorcerers

Dragon’s Dogma 2players who want to clear wolves faster can use this helpful trick to catch them off-guard. As seen in the clip above, it allows Sorcerers to position themselves in combat and cast their unique spells without being interrupted.

The Sorcerer is among thebest Vocations inDragon’s Dogma 2thanks to its sheer damage output and powerful augments. Players who unlock this advanced Magick class gain access to unique spells that deal massive AoE damage. Sorcerers call down lightning bolts and meteors from the sky, sending icy blizzards that inflict the Frostbite condition. Moreover, their core skills allow them to recover stamina, speed up the casting time, and prevent fall damage. Since Sorcerers are incapable of staying on the frontline, they must position themselves behind their teammates to avoid being killed.

The Sorcerer class is unlocked upon completingDragon’s Dogma 2’s “Vocation Frustration” quest, which can be triggered by speaking to Klaus in Vernworth. This quest requires players to deliver an archistaff that can be found inside Trevo Mine. After giving an archistaff to Klaus and paying 150 Discipline Points, players can switch their Vocation to the Sorcerer anytime they want.
